I don't see how we don't have an OC by the bowl game. Literally interview everyone you think is a possibility and make an offer to your top guy. Things break down then immediately offer your next choice.
Extend and/or confirm all other assistant coaches who need addressing as well. These kids have to know what they are getting into and if they don't they will go elsewhere.

As long as we make a hire before these guys start announcing, then IDK what the big deal is...
Doesn't have to be done now or even next week. We can bide our time and wait until after the bowl game. EEs don't enroll until mid January and NSD isn't until 2/1.

That's not for coaching... that's for perception as it relates to recruiting.

Losing out on Akers because we don't have an OC should cost jobs...interview, make a decision by the end of the week O...freakin FAU can do it, why can't we??
