offenses in the last 5 years are hard to compare with the late 90's and early 00's...i think the best guy to compare him to is Larry Foster..If he goes to LSU and has a career as foster did, id take it..

Yeah, we are not going to meet eye to eye on any of this. Offenses from Bryant in high school to now is not that different. Lufkin was runnin a spread. They had Reggie Mcneal at Qb and were spreading everyone out.

Not really a good comparison.

Bryant is a heck of a lot taller than Landry.

He is. I want comparing bodies in the beginning. I was comparing style of play and big play ability. I think they are very close in those aspects

He'll be better than Reed IMO. He's stronger than Reed ever was at this point in their careers and he's so polished it's ridiculous.

Really not a fair comparison. Josh Reed was a tailback at Rayne. He never played WR in HS. He made the transition to WR as well as anyone. That guy could separate at the collegiate level unlike any LSU WR I ever saw. He was 5 yds open every time he caught the ball.

Landry has IT. The kid just knows how to play football. He has phenomenal ball skills and makes people miss after the catch. He is one of those guys where you throw away the measurables.....sit back and eat some popcorn.....Kind of like Michael Crabtree.

Come on down!

people were freaking out over some comments he made after the florida game, but don't worry.

jarvis knows LSU is home and that he can get to the NFL by spending at least 3 years on campus.

someone said it already, but the kid has "it"

he is mentally tough, and a really smart kid.

he loooooves to block, which is why I predict he'll be starting his freshman year at LSU.

quick learner, with a mean streak.

I like Jarvis because he just plays so mean.

I wouldn't mind letting him play LB with the attitude he has.

I just can't tell you how much I love WR's that throw brutal blocks.

He is Dorsey's cousin, so he might play the recruiting game to get all he can out of it, IMO.

However, he will be an LSU Tiger.

Next year's recruiting could be better than 2000 when we got three 5 stars players. We could get 5.

Biletnikoff Shmelietnikoff. Landry will be the first ever 10,000 yard receiver in NCAA history.

he will be our slot receiver for the future, and look for him to completely take over that position quickly his freshman year - ala peterson at CB position.
