Maybe that's it. But State's offense is putting its premier backs on Sunday television . That's where MC is heading if he stays healthy enough.

Alright, Gump. Now that the hook is firmly set in the large amount of fatty tissue in your jaw, try to look at the facts for once. The statement I made spoke to Croom's success in getting his primary running backs to the NFL.Since you know who Norwood is, you obviously have a child that can help you use Google. To save time, I'll spoon feed the analysis to you....and to aid your efforts to absorb this information, I'll go slow.First, when did Croom begin at State? No, the answer isn't after Bammer fu_ked up...the answer is late 2003 with his first season being 2004. Now, who became the premier running back for the Dogs in 2004 until his draft after the 2005 season? Guess? Norwood...good job.Why was Norwood drafted? Croom's offense showed him to be a durable warrior....@200 carries per season in that offense, a career average of more than 4 yards a carry and 2 consecutive 1000+ yard seasons. Next question....an' it's gonna be rough on you because it involves math...What is Croom's success rate at putting his premier running back in the pros while coaching at State? Answer in the form of a ratio(that means a percentage). 100% is your guess? Correct, again! You gettin' good, Gump! Now, let's see what that offense is doing , running back wise, since Norwood went to the NFL...just to see if there is a trend developing... Dixon's been the premier back. Stats? Almost 300 carrys last season, career average of better than 4 yards a carry and zero fumbles in his career. Oh, an' he's a big guy, 6'1", 240 with a bruising style and good speed on the outside. He's an NFL lock barring career ending injury.Who'll fit into that program well? A big, 6'2"+, 217 lb., running back with 4.4 speed from La., MC. He's a great fit for a program that is showcasing it's backs...and which has a great track record for putting them in the NFL.Now, you've got the factual basis behind my statement...I'll cut the line for you this time....

Wow, this thread sucks but I wish Montrell nothing but the best.

I wonder what Tennessee and the rest of the schools were offering him as.....rb or lb.

Maybe. I figured it was retarded that I'd have to explain the facts to someone who holds himself out as knowing a good bit about college ball.

you act as if its common football knowledge that Croom is some running wizard coach.

Didn't mean for my statement to sound that way.Just figured common knowledge would prevent anyone from thinking the statement was incorrect.
