This offer could also be a sign that the staff isn't very confident in getting Beckwith and Tim Williams.

I don't even know the situation with Williams. All I know is that he's got a kid and is a responsible father.

If he loves that kid like he says he does (seen it posted somewhere, don't remember where), he's not going anywhere but LSU. He's not leaving that baby behind.

If him having a kid and he feels strongly about his kid, I'm to the point of I'm pretty confident Williams stays at LSU. Any father with the opportunity to stay close to home with your child or 8 hours away, all with the same opportunities.....home always wins. Always.

I agree with you but I would never underestimate Saban. Would not be Suprised if the family was set up nicely in a town close to Tuscaloosa.

I would agree but his comments about LSU, combined with being a responsible father like he seems to be, I just don't see him going anywhere else.

If he's got a big family and the baby's mamma has a big family, they aren't going anywhere.

If they're all close knit. Not happening.

Think back to Jai Eugene.

on the flip side of this.. if (and i'm not saying he is, but i've seen it happen before) he is not responsible and thinks that having a child was a big mistake, i could see him using another school as a way to 'get away' from the situation (parental resposibilities, babymommadrama, etc)

again, i know nothing about the kid, and i am not judging him, but i've seen it happen before in other situations.. i just hope he does the right thing and takes care of his home situation before he chooses a school

LSU has offered FL DB, McKenzie Alexander.

I'm too lazy to link anything else or spell check his name.

I like all the DL prospects we're targeting early. Now we just need to land some.

I don't think Beckwith is going to be a LB. LSU will probably just sell that to him and move him to WDE, IMO.

Massington and Miles rescheduled for the Spring Game on March 31st:

The most interesting thing about the article:

quote:

What about your team mate Kameron Miles? "We would like to go to the same school and I believe if LSU offered he would jump on it instantly."

GA, you're speaking to me with that post. I have felt that was the case for a while but had begun to hear some Texas buzz with Massington. The way my luck has been we'll frick it up somehow.

Smith is nothing to worry about until later in the year and probably not then.

Great list Memphis. I would be a little suprised if the staff was bringing in both Barrett and Thomas but they may just be getting them on campus whenever possible.

Alexander is a beast but I'm not even getting into his recruitment until January 2013. It's going to be a rollercoaster ride for the teams involved for the next 10 months.
