baseball recruiting is downright savage.
go out and get the 1, 2, and 3 best highschoolers in the nation and none of them ever see campus.

Current commit names to watch are Miguel Sime Jr, River Hamilton, Marcus Paz (all RHP), Mason Braun 1B. Jack Ruckert SS (played ball at Catholic in BR), and Briggs McKenzie LHP. All top 100 HS recruits.
Also will be looking out where Ethan Frey goes. If he isn't taken in the top 10 rounds, he's probably coming back to complete our outfield with Curiel and Brown.
We are also in a bidding war with Tennessee for RHP Cooper Moore. We lost out on Gavin Kilen last year to them so I expect coach JJ to pull from as many sources as possible to get a weekend starter.

Those are not the actual rankings. Referring to our commits
You really think LSU got #1,2,3,4 HS recruits? And through 80+ picks only 4 HSers have been drafted?
LSU fans are something

That's their HS ranking in order to where they rank coming to LSU, not overall rankings. Quentin Young is the top LSU commit but ranked #11 in the overall rankings. I didn't think I had to clearly that but I guess I do.

LSU has already secured their #7 recruit in Omar Serna C and their #8 recruit in pitcher Raegan Ricken. Those 2 are ranked 41 and 72 in the top 100.

Ethan Frey goes at #95.
Well, we know where he is going. But, where is he from?

Bear Jones to the pirates! He should get to the mlb just about the same time Skenes signs with the Dodgers.
