ESPN is 1.5 hours away. NYC is 2.5 hours away if there is no traffic on I-95 which is seldom. Boston is 1.5 hours away. Storrs in in the middle of nowhere and the woman suck.

You could pee in the snow to add that gold effect to the LSU.

Just a thought.

Rumors on UConn boards are that he's given the Huskies a commitment

link?

It's on the Scout Premium boards.

ETA: Most there do not believe it though and the rumor is unsubstantiated.

don't believe it though, but he is THE #1 recruit for them. That's not the case with LSU.

I dont get what youre saying here. He may not be the centerpiece of our recruiting class (I don't think single person fills that this year) but if we don't get him, it would be a huge disappointment

UPDATE: I just drove through campus and on the hillside at the cow pasture "MINGO" is spelt out in the snow in 10' block letters. If it wasn't behind lock and key I would go spell out a big LSU!!

Well you just aren't a very good fan then. A real Tiger would find a way.

Wow we could have used this guy. I wish him well with the Huskies and think he will stand out big time in the Big East conference. Good luck, Barky.

According to Rivals, he'll be at the UConn-Providence basketball game on Saturday.

Well. . .geauxtigersbeb better be there in P&G, holding a "Pick LSU, Mingo!!!" sign. And if they chant his name, start chanting LSU for a few seconds after they stop.

Do that, and you will be my personal hero and the greatest tiger fan of all time, in my eyes.

NYC is definitely 2.5 hours away.

As for getting into the game, it was sold out 7 years ago.

Yeah, when I lived in Stamford it took about an hour to get to NYC with moderate traffic, and Storrs is quite a way off from both Stamford and New York.

I don't think that Barkevious will be too interested, but if there is one thing that Connecticut has that we don't have here in LA, it is an abundance of Asian Massage Parlors Seriously, there is probably one on off every exit on I-95.

Yeah, I hate to say it, but I was shocked with what was missing at Storrs. My wife went to graduate school there, and I was looking for any signs of college life. There truly is nothing there. Except maybe a wings place, if it's still there.

There's a live bait shop 100 yards off campus. And the love and peace hippies driving their Toyota Prius rule.
