can someone post a link to a highlight Vid.
as much as a lurk I can't remember seeing one of him. Thanks.

I think nickname threads are corny, but I love the name "Ford" for a running back. F-250 anyone? got anything better?

Michael Ford (WampusCat) and Eunice (Bobcats) appreciation thread. Hey Cadello, just had lunch at Johnson's Boucaniere here in Lafayette, which is the sandwich place they opened after closing the store in Eunice. Incredible food, but can't replace the Grocery!!! Plus, they only have boudin on Saturday mornings here.

Between University and the Cathedral on St. John. Address is 1111 St. John Street. Only 2 blocks from my office. I go 2-3 days a week.

The daughter is running it, but I saw the dad in there today and one day last week. He still lives in Eunice but comes a couple days a week to help out. Talked to him for 10 minutes the other day. I think the mom is in a nursing home here in Lafayette or something like that.

I'm from DeRidder, but used to pass through Eunice to go home just to stop at Johnsons (and Mowata grocery sometimes). My grandmother is from Eunice. Also would stop at Johnson's on the way to Fred's in Mamou on Saturday mornings. Breakfast of champions.

Check out their MySpace page. Cajuns done gone High Tech!!!!

will be the best RB in this class when all is said and done.

+1. What I can't get over is some of the comments (apparently by those who've never watched Michael play) about him being too small to run between the tackles. Totally absurd. He'll probably be around 215# with 4.45 speed and 400+ pound bench strength by the time he has his first carry as a Tiger. Chuck Scott with a little more speed IMHO.

I used to work in DeRidder. I helped them set up the Video Attractions Store there.
I always stop at Mowata for boudin..
Even though everyone requests Eunice Slaughterhouse, I prefer Mowata's for some reason.
Thx again

It's the "black pepper" flavor. Very unique.

I've enjoyed boudin from Mowata grocery several times.
