I'd sign him and try him at a few positions. On both sides of the ball. He was one of the top 5 players I saw in the dome this weekend.

Is he worthy of an SEC scholly or will he have to take one of those preferred walk-on spots?

MOst of thoses times are off. He did look faster than that. Oh, BTW, not many kids run a true 4.4/40 time. One guy was in the stands talking about a kid that runs a 4.3/40......

I've seen him many times. He can F-L-Y!

I heard the problem is his ACT score which was low the first time he took it. He can def play in the SEC as long as he gets his grades/scores up. The kid is great and could play in the secondary for sure.

From what we saw, he could play in the SEC. The kid had a bunch of tough yards. Good speed, could run both inside and outside.

If Al Blue is SEC then Eugene is as well.. Key is how are his grades.

And to be fair, I have NO clue what his grades are....it was just spoken to me that it was believed his ACT score was low, as in barely double digits (if that). I haven't a clue when he took the test or anything in detail. So I'm sure he has taken it again is is going to soon.

Junior College at this point. Still has time to get his core grade up which I'm told is the issue. Could not get into LSU or most other SEC schools sholastically at this point. Nice talent though.

In an interview before the game he said he had a 16 on the ACT, but was going to take it again in January.

Not anymore.

Micah disagrees:

While Micah Eugene has continued to impress on the field, offers have been slow to come from college football programs.

“I haven’t received any offers yet, but I’m still hearing from a number of schools like LSU, Alabama, UL and a few others,” Micah said. “I think if I can improve my ACT score, the offers will happen for me in January. I’ve worked hard in the classroom this year, currently maintaining a 3.2 GPA this semester.”

Micah Eugene scored a 16 on his previous ACT exam and has scheduled another test in January.

If he hasn't taken his ACT again, how is he eligible now?

If you have a subscription to tigerbait perhaps you should go read the story on the front page...

He ran a 4.6 at a combine in which other guys ran 4.4s. If he were a couple inches taller he would be an ideal OLB prospect with the way he plays but he is built more like a SS. So where does he end up in college?

Don't see the point of subscribing to Rivals when usually the info is here at the same time if not sooner. Like I said, if he had a 16 on his ACT and won't take it again until January, how is he eligible? Isn't a 17 the MINIMUM for an NCAA scholarship and that's if you have good grades?

They have a sliding scale they use now. It doesn't just go by the 17 or whatever the score is. I think it combines the scores of the different sections (reading, math, etc.)

Well, if his core is 3.2, he should be qualified with a 16ACT.
