"I need to get out more", says the guy with 11932 posts...
You and the others that do nothing but bitch and moan about the same shite every day, need to get out more. Y'all need to step back and realize the same drivel you spew from a day to day bases changes nothing with the program. The whining and crying got really old, really fast.
I'm sure your lives are miserable. Sad really.

you boomed me with a post count jab...I'm kind of honored because I think it's the first time.
Fans bitching need not have any impact to the program, Les is accomplishing that enough on his own.
Miserable I tell ya...miserable. I'm waiting on my mom to bring me dinner and turn on the furnace. I'm cold and hungry down here in this basement.

I think your receivers are going to be interested in playing for Texas because of the incoming quarterbacks they have. Next year it will be all-everything Garrett Gilbert starting his college career and he is going to throw the ball a lot and probably well.

bullshite. I've seen him take snaps at Texas and he's going to be a very very good QB. More than that, he comes into a starting role in a perfect environment, being a local kid with a great coaching staff and the fan support as if he were a 3 year starter.
save this post if you like...
Dodd,
For posterity's sake, predict UT and LSU's records for next year. I think JJ is going to play like a 2nd yr starting Jr next year. UT would have lost at least 2-3 games playing LSU's schedule this year. The Big 12 was sorry compared to recent seasons. I believe the NC game will show that.
Thx

except he was committed to LSU. Colt gave his verbal to Jimbo Fisher (loved Jimbo for some reason). RP wanted to come to LSU, but hated Saban. Saban deserted LSU to Miami and RP changed his mind faster than Obama on sending more troops to Afghanistan. After this, Colt changed his mind to Texas.

LSU looking at Texas QB McCoy

Nick Saban and Jimbo Fisher are doing everything in their power to bring in a blue chip quarterback in the 2005 signing class.
It seems like everyone the Tigers have targeted has committed to other schools but there is a new name on the board and it is Colt McCoy (6-1, 185, 4.75) of Tuscola (Texas) Jim Ned.
McCoy, the 18th rated signal caller in the land, committed to Texas over the summer but he is talking to a few select schools just in case the offense Texas chooses to run in the future does not suit his needs.
“I am committed to Texas,” McCoy reiterated to Tiger Rag. “I have not de-committed but I am talking to LSU, Texas A&M and Kansas State.”
Saban contacted McCoy two weeks ago to see if he had an interest in LSU and after a long talk with the Tigers’ head man the youngster realized that LSU may have something worth taking a closer look at.
“He let me know how bad they needed a quarterback and the type of offense they run is the type we run at Jim Ned,” said McCoy, who has passed for just under 8,500 yards and 95 touchdowns in three years. “I think I would be crazy not to take a look at LSU’s offense because I would have a chance to compete and play early in an offense like ours. I think that offense would be suitable.”
McCoy took notice of the offense Fisher has installed at LSU during the Tigers’ run at the national championship last season. He saw an offense that was centered on the quarterback making good decisions and being a true field general.
“I like how the quarterback is the leader and the way he runs the offense in that system,” McCoy said. “I used to like watching Matt Mauck play and I feel that I am similar to him in a lot of ways.”
Saban and McCoy have not hammered out the details for an official visit date but if he takes one he would like to see Tiger Stadium in its true environment.
“I would like to come down for a game to feel the atmosphere but I haven’t set one up yet,” McCoy said. “If everything works out I will get to take a visit.”
This is definitely a story Tiger fans should follow closely over the next few weeks but for now McCoy insists he is still committed to the Horns.
the 2nd article shows 2 month later he is still committed to ut: and there are no stories after it about him wavering:
QB Colt McCoy: Wavering on UT? No Sir...

Colt McCoy Profile
Tuscola Jim Ned QB Colt McCoy pushed back his UT official visit to "sometime in January" because he had a basketball tournament this past weekend. We talk about the above, whether he's considering taking additional official visits and more...
"I didn't make it (to Austin) for the (UT) official visit," Colt McCoy told Scout.com. "I had a basketball tournament I was obligated to be in."
Jim Ned has a stellar hoops squad this season that is ranked No. 2/3 in the state in one of the Texas HS Hoops polls...
While the 4-star passer may have missed the Banquet Weekend festivities, he said he's cruising to the Forty Acres this Thursday to take an unofficial visit and will also make an official visit "sometime in January."
With some folks worried that he might be considering taking official visits to schools not named UT, McCoy offered this: "I will not take an official visit to any other school until I officially visit Texas first." In other words, the Mack Brown/Greg Davis and Co. will get the opportunity to close the book on his possible flirtation with "Kansas State, LSU and Texas Tech."
"Something major would have to happen or change before I would check out another school," the 6-1, 185-pound signal caller revealed. "I don't think anything like that's going to happen though."
"I'm firm to Texas," McCoy continued. "I committed to them a long time ago and there's been some other options out there for me, but I feel really strong about Texas and that's the place I want to be."
Senior Season Stats: 3,800 yards, 48 TDs (against 8 INTs), 600 yards rushing and 10-12 rushing TDs, (58-60 Total TDs).
So, please stop posting that Mccoy was coming here, he never was, this stupid rumor started bc somebody said he was committed until Perriloux switched (some idiots who didnt follow recruiting bought it), now it is he woulda switched, kinda hard when he visits 0 schools other then UT. So, please LSU fans stop the stupidity.

Great post. These so called recruiting experts should have been following football their entire life instead of the band or ballet. They take an internet story and run with it as if they got it from the recruit himself.
The so called recruiting asst's team is a bunch of guys who have never been involved in organized football, but give their opinions on recruits like they have seen them numerous times in games and practice. They subscibe to Rivals ans Scout so they know more than college coaches.

Yeah, because god and LSU fans know that ALL RS Fresh. QB's are all insanely good and will not miss a beat. That's just the way it happens there. There's no such thing as exceptions considering how Colt McCoy played. His soph. year had been taken from the record books because we want to make Texas' young QB's look as good as possible to help our arguments.
So many fortune tellers on these boards. How the hell any of you guys haven't won the lottery yet is beyond me.

Heard from a good source close to family that he had a few criteria for his school choices. One was that the team had to finish in the top 100 offenses in the country.
