What's the point of committing when a kid is 15 and 16 years old? Two years before he can sign and several visits to make certain what school he wants to attend. He's probably been hearing the same things Surtain heard and nearly every LSU recruit that bama wanted. O and staff win something by the time this kid can sign and he just might go to LSU.

Don't expect him back. His coach post on Alabama board BOL and he's on there saying he'll do whatever he can to get him to commit to Bama

it looks like you may be right. I am beginning to believe this board is bad for LSU football. the wrong people have taken over and may not even be LSU fans. rants are one thing but there seems to be a systematic approach to tearing down anything LSU football. when "fans" cheer bad events, they are not fans.

players that commit that early rarely stay committed all the way through the process. No one that young should be committing anywhere.

And recruits play for coaches, not fans. 0 is the reason for decommits, not fans.

Fair enough, so what is the reason for commits like Terrace Marshall, Ja’marr Chase, Kelvin Joseph, and Kardell Thomas? You do realize that other schools have decommits also, right? Even schools like Alabama.

Agreed. A commitment more than about 2 days from signing day is not worth anything.

Hard to say which was the bigger lie-him being able to close on key recruits or bringing in the top coordinators in the country. Both proving to be complete and total BS
