To a school. Not looking good when he just came off a visit to Georgia. This will sting if we lose out on him.

No it won't if we get Foster.

And, that is likely what will happen. We need another quarterback for our roster.

McMillan isn't going to play and neither will that transfer coming in. Need big time talent at qb almost every season.

Sometimes I wonder how so many forget it is the most important position on the field. So why not get the best qb you can each recruiting year?

As long as Raymond is coaching at LSU, I won't worry about DB's

I would like to add Goodrich, but if he chooses to go to UGA, then LSU could possibly sign 26 next class. Considering how loaded it is, that could be pretty big. I think a long snapper will be needed, which would make having that extra spot very nice.

We have one committed I believe from the same school as the Ferguson's. #1 ranked LS in the country - Quentin Skinner.

I don't believe we could sign 26 next year if we only get 24 this year. It's a hard cap from my understanding. If it comes down to it we'll take a 25th guy this year just because.

You can still count back if you didn’t use all of your 25 the previous year

You’re crazy to think he won’t see the field. He is Athletic but also has solid accuracy. Not many HS qbs throw 70% completion rate. He has offers from Bama FSU A&M Lsu among others.

You can still back count as long as the replacement enrolls by December of the same year and replaces someone from the same class. For example, the transfer kicker we signed graduates in December, and we sign a 2019 early enrollee during the early signing period.

This isn't true. They just need to enroll in time to start the spring semester to count on that year's class.

When you think about the signing classes like school years it's a little easier to understand. The guys we signed in December and are about to sign in February are all part of the 2018-2019 signing class (next year). The guys we signed last February are the 2017-2018 class (this year).

The way the rule is written, guys accepting financial aid in the second (spring) or third (for schools with a trimester system) semesters can either be counted toward the CURRENT class or the next class. We're still technically in the 2017-2018 calendar year. All of the guys we're signing now are for next year's academic year, which starts in the fall.

Makes sense?
