I agree it just really disheartening. I had already written off Moses, but I thought that Allen would end up at LSU. Really sucks to lose out on both that are from Baton Rouge.
I honestly can't think of any 4 or 5 star players that LSU has gotten from Tuscaloosa,Gainesville, Athens,etc... This has to stop if LSU is going to turn the tables on the midget

It might be that the guys grow up going to many LSU games being on campus. After high school years feeling somewhat like going to LSU, they want a change... I don't think it's so personal, but I don't understand the Bama pick for any LSU fan...

This is a great point , and I've sometimes found myself asking this same question. Does the magic and allure of Tiger Stadium become taken for granted by some of these guys that experience it too much.
We have spoiled our son with too many trips to Disneyland, and you can see that the magic in his eyes is not nearly the same as the first couple of trips.
So I think that you are on to something here.
