I had no idea that he was Southern Labs coach until reading Dandy Don this morning. How can we have a former tiger as his coach in Baton Rouge and Bama still is able to swoop in and take him? I just don't understand how some regions are untouchable to pull recruits away from the home school, and we have a former tiger coaching a prized recruit at OUR BIGGEST POSITION OF NEED in BATON ROUGE and we can't get him to LSU.
This also leads me to believe that Moses isn't wavering like he wants some to believe. He has made a lot of remarks to playing with his friend Allen who he started playing ball with in pee-wee, and then all of a sudden Allen who was considered a strong LSU lean shocks everyone and chooses Bama. Doesn't add up for Allen or Moses!

Nick Saban was Marcus's coach while at LSU, and he still has a lot of love and respect for the man.

Just a Bizzaro World thought. Remember Jansen Jackson? What a splash it would be if Moses and Allen left Saban for O on signing day? Would that be a gigantic splash for O's recruiting chops? Also a shot to the guts of our arch enemies of the Evil Empire, Lord Saban and Bama

That was complete bullshite, and I wouldn't wish that on any coach/team.

Not to mention, having anyone go the "route" of Janzen is fricked up.

So the coach is above the school?
Sad if that's true

You don't follow sports much these days

Getting to NFL is above all, and Saban is best in business at helping players with Moses' and Allen's skills to get to the NFL

It's definitely a sign of the times I guess. I have a young cousin who is a senior in high school in Mandeville and she just got her acceptance letter to Bama. She was accepted at LSU and Southeastern , but her mom said it's been her dream to go to Bama. I just find it strange. Here is a girl who has grown up in South Louisiana and her dream school is Bama?? Bama has become so sensationalized that these kids would rather go to Tuscaloosa than Baton Rouge. Growing up in Hammond, i couldn't imagine given the opportunity as a young adult to go anywhere other than LSU . Seems that's not the case for star athletes or students.

I know Marcus, he's a great guy that wants what's best for his kids. I love LSU and hate Bama, but we need to face this simple fact: Saban has more players in the NFL than any other active coach, case closed.

LSU has the most players in the league, or they are close to it. LSU doesn't have any problems getting players to the NFL.

That's interesting because LSU has the most players on current rosters in the NFL from any college team at 44 as of 9/16. Alabama had 42. Also saw where someone put up statistics of our LBs currently playing NFL to their LBs, and our LBs have been much more productive.

bama has a specific lineage of getting lb, rush ends and OL to be drafted high in NFL

LSU has same claim with DBs

You have some delusion about loyalty when this is a business

Why are you hating on a system where the employee is going to a system that offers top benefits?
