He’s an animal, people only list him at 6’3, 200, but take it from me, he’s bigger than that. Easily the fastest kid I’ve seen in High School as well.

Awesome. I knew they were going to have to do something after that game against Bowie. When he was on defense, being on the same side as John brand was a stout side. Man, they needed some speed on the outside on offense. Happy they made the switch to help the team. He is a special talent and glad he will be a Tiger!

EJ Holland was covering his game tonight and posted clips of Marcel making plays all over the place. He even played CB. He looks like Patrick Peterson in some of the clips. EJ commented he's probably the most talented 2019 recruit from Texas.

And he’s not a 5 Star?? All I see in that film is a top 50 player in the country. Maybe top 20. He’s going to do special things at linebacker when he puts on a few lbs. That kid has MAYBE not been the best player on the field only a handful of times in his life.

He's one of the few people I've ever seen actually wow me doing drills in shorts and a T-shirt. Standout athletic ability and so smooth for a linebacker.

He will be a 5-star and top 20 guy on 247, no idea what the other recruiting services will do with his ranking.

Since when can high school players not be bigger than NFL guys? Yes I’m friends with him and he’s honestly 6’4, maybe not 220, but he’s not 200. I would say probably 210. Yes, his speed is dynamic as hell. He’s fast as shite. John Emery also runs a 4.4, is that in question? Saquon isn’t slower than 4.4 speed either.

Emery and Saquon lasered their times.
Barkley at combine - 4.40
Emery at The Opening - 4.42
I have not seen Brooks run a lasered time anywhere, but I seriously doubt he's a 4.4 guy. That's not a knock, every year there are 200 kids in HS that can purportedly run a 4.4 and yet that never materializes when they have to run laser times.
Kid is fast though and crazy smooth. He's going to be a stud OLB for us.

Hope you are right. I question what makes a kid a 5 star? If he isn't after watching his speed and moves I wonder what would? And I hope the male witch from the east doesn't again spoil the kid by offering him what we can't.

his body kind of reminds me of dez bryant. Im kind of shocked he wants to be a DB, i thought edge LB all the way

Dez Bryant body is a great comparison. He wants to play hybrid on defense. He’ll be a great OLB, but I can definitely see him dropping back and playing some SS.

Bump just to say: Future top 10 draft pick. I'm calling it now. This guy is a freak with NFL level explosion right now. The kind of athlete that can put on 15 lbs and not lose a step.
