I like this guy, he seems down to earth. The guy interviewing him has has had one rally burger too much.

This was expected, still nice to hear a few days before the AA game. Since LSU has in recent years not gotten much good news with players announcing during these All Star games, if he wanted to wait 2 more days until the game, it would have been okay. Now we can focus on hoping Beckwith joins Bain by giving his verbal to the Tigers during the Under Armor game.

still don't get the discrepancy between the various sites recruiting rankings on Bain...but at the end of the day, I trust Les and Co. when it comes to recruiting.

What is the deal with his rivals ranking?

He is a 3* on rivals but rated as the #43 player in the NATION by ESPN....also, the #103 player in the state of FLORIDA by 247....there seems to be a huge discrepancy in the ratings here.

rivals, scout, and 247sports aren't very high on him at all. ESPN really likes him and has him as one of the top recruits in the country. Most important, I guess, is that the coaching staff is big on him and I would put that before any recruiting service. It's just odd to see such large discrepancies of opinion on a player.

So is his Rivals' offer list inaccurate? The low rankings, plus shitty Marshall being in his top 4 don't make sense if the offers are legit.

Normally ESPN sucks at ranking recruits, but as you said we should all trust the staff way more than the recruiting websites.

Also welcome to tiger town to Bain. Hopefully he will continue in the steps of our past great linemen.

Marshall was a back up plan in case he didn't make the grades. It was really between LSU and Oklahoma, two schools that know a thing or two about DTs.

Dang if we can get Nkimdiche and a beast safety and big WR this will be a huge class.

Frick with a new offensive coordinator we might could be dominant again.

Bain is very raw but a phenomenal athlete, LSU will mold this guy into a beast.
