kid is headed to Arkansas and I can't figure out why we wouldn't offer due to our need for oline.
No I'm not related to him.

watched the game with a former NFL coach and I'm a former 4 year letterman at LSU and after the first 2 series his man was just diving on the ground in front of him to save face. I don't need to watch it again.

My only guess is that they slow played him and when they got evan washington and hardrick they didn't feel the need to get another o-linemen. That and this kid might have really just watned to go out of state

When and what position did you play?

the we saw something different - I never saw the curtis line including 75 handled like they were in that game.

against STM in the second half they played press man against the two STM WRs with a safety basically playing MLB and had 8 hands on the ground on the LOS. They didn't have LBs on the LOS, it was 8 DL and it was simply stunning (and was quite effective).

I have the game tivo'd and you are welcome to come over and watch. Evangel sold out on the run and Curtis' QB overthrew every pass he threw. 75 had the guy in front of him nosediving into the turf to keep from getting driven of the ball after the second series of the game. If you can watch the second series of the game and you will see 2 pancakes in consecutive plays first the LB, then the DE. I was watching the game as a nonbiased fan of high school fb and called my middle school aged sons in to show how an olineman should finish his blocks.

In a career, are you allowed to commit twice? First, he committed to JC Curtis when they recruited him and now he commits to Arkansas.

I don't know anyhting about the kid but his dad was a pitcher on the '75 SEC Championship team. Only thing is, he wasn't around to share in it 'cause he quit the team about a third of the way thru the season.
He was pissed because Jim Smith wouldn't make him the #1 starter over Pat Moock (12-0) or Guy Hollingsworth so he took his ball and went to play on a semi-pro team in Ponchatoula.
Had he stayed, we would probably have won our first NC that year. That team was that good.

Charpentier looks to be a player for us....we've found another south LA kid that is a WR and could also be a Hog and believe me, our coaches know how to evaluate receivers....He'll be a steal just like Brandon Mitchell was last year...
