LSU’s 9 3 stars in 2024 class

Since someone in the rant had to cry saying I was on wrong board, here you go
I think these guys, especially about 6 of the 9 3 stars are underrated with the offers they have.
LSU’s 3 stars
1.)Johnson DT-Offers from Bama and Georgia
2.)Keys-Bama offer
3.)Callaway offer from Georgia
4.) Lee/ offer from Florida State
5.) Ondre Evans- Bama and Georgia
6.) Ory Williams- Georgia and USC
7.) Wallace Foster-Texas, ATM and Fl State
8.) Cryer-Penn State
9.) Breaux/Stanford

Very good chance more than half of these guys end up with 4 stars like you said. People cry about “3 stars” and fail to realize these things are very fluid, and most of the movement happens during these players senior seasons. Whit Weeks last year was a mediocre ranked 3 star when we landed him and ended as a top 100 prospect with like a 95 grade. Nobody was crying then.

I compared the 2023 class with this years and most of our payers in 2024 have offers from Georgia as the 2023 hardly had any guys with offers from those schools. Tells me all I need to know.

I guess they were comparing to West, who is more of just a quality depth player that will never be a stud, but Whit looks way bigger and athletic.

It doesn't take a scout to see how good some of these prospects are and are severely underrated. This board knew when LSU was going to land Weeks he was super underrated and the same thing about Parker. What has Parker done since? Get nothing but rave reviews in camp for a freshman. Most of us felt like he should've been ranked much higher than he was especially considering his production in itself.

I'm not trying to discount your post BUT
Just because they say Bama/GA/etc offered doesn't make it true.
I'm sure you'll find some 2* with an LSU offer on their site that's not commitable.

No, not really, I always look at players offers and when teams like Bama, Georgia and LSU are offering, they must know something , I looked earlier and didn’t see any 2 stars that any of them teams offered. For the most part it was high ranked players that they all offered.

To be clear, all I did was share our 3. Star recruits and compared to the 2023 classes lowest ranked recruits that didn’t have offers from the big boys, that’s all. It don’t mean they suck. No one offered Justin Jefferson and Honey Badger, lol

2020/Gilbert/Ricks/Boutte
2021/Maason Smith/Sage
2022/Perkins
2023/Heard and Womack
Not sure if I missed anyone,but looking at the classes, it does help landing the Perkins of the world, but half those guys didn’t amount to much. As long as LSU lands a bunch of 4 stars with local, high potential 3 stars, they will be fine

Most times those offers are reported by the kids themselves. Some are legit. Some legit for a certain amount of time. Some just an invite to come work out(Bama special). Some misunderstandings of the English language. Some just outright lies. Who's to say who's right?

It seems there is also a bit of bias against our recruits. We always seem to have recruits piled up at the top of the list of 3-stars and 4-stars, just short of getting their extra star. If we were Bama or UGA those recruits would be 4 and 5-stars. In the end, it is meaningless though. It's what they do on the field that counts, and as you say, our 3-stars contain a lot of top notch performers.

Finally someone with sense, I wonder why some of these prick with ears that clearly don’t know football just want to be grammar police or say you an alter. Why would anyone have an alter that is just posting positive stuff about LSU is beyond me.
