Brune at On3 just posted intel…it’s Ohio State. Yikes!!!

Looks like it’s down to Strong. If they miss on her they will have missed on all of their targets . Maybe we will hear some new names pop up. Going to have to hit the portal hard.

Yeah at this point offer Sarah Strong an NIL deal she can’t refuse. But hell would that even matter. We can’t keep pace with SC missing on an entire class. Meanwhile they are killing it on the trail. Mikaylah & Aneesah definitely provides comfort though.

Let me know when the program isn’t operating at a loss. Should take Mulkeys few millions and use it to buy some DL and CB out the portal. All, 100% of WBB operates at a loss- UCONN has won 11, 11 NC and loses $3M or so a year- you really think the VALUE of UCONN WBB is not many times $3M when it comes to brand? So you want to get rid of sports that lose $? So 95% of all baseball is gone, as is about 40 D1 Men's Football and 100+ MBB
Nope just proving that people don’t give a shite about WBB. Obviously they won’t get rid of it but the point people don’t give a shite is a fact.

Really, so the viewership of last year's WBB Final average of 10 million that exceeded for just one example any round of the Masters is "don't give a sh*te"...nice

10 million viewers for the game between LSU and Iowa. 2.8 million viewers for the college baseball finals between LSU and Florida . I guess no one cares about college baseball .

There is always one moron who has to post in a women's basketball thread that he doesn't like women's basketball. Check your ego moron, no one cares about your ignorant opinion.

You can get away with one 'off' class considering the portal and HS classes LSU signed the last two years but you can't go multiple classes though that way.

Assuming HVL/Reese go pro like most predict, LSU will have 5 open scholarships going into the summer, thats quite a lot. They can't miss on the 2025 class though. If you can sign 2-3 quality HS recruits a year with great supplementation through the portal, thats ideal. I don't think being completely dependent on the portal is a viable long term strategy.

LSU's guaranteed core next year is solid with Flaujae, Mikaylah Williams, Morrow, Smith, they need another strong post to compliment ADR inside, as well as getting another high quality PG/guard who can score. In the slim chance Reese or HVL comes back then great but I can assure you the coaches are planning like they won't be.

357 is usually spot on- but have to think the HVL/Angel going pro is more 50-50. And what we have coming back even without them is awesome. IF HVL goes pro have to think we could get another top PG transfer if needed.

..................or, Angelica Velez will assume the pg duties. It's not like she's not an ESPN top 50 recruit.

This is so not like Mulkey. Maybe we’ve thrown in the towel on the 24 class?

Idk how you could throw the towel in or not go all out for Sarah strong (#1 prospect) in the country. Who you are a potential landing spot. Guess time will tell with her

I think LSU will be fine in the long run....But it’s surprising to see Mulkey get her a** kicked in recruiting like this.

Nothing to do with it. It’s all about who is offering the most cash to the player. Nothing else.

Personally, yes, I think the VALUE of UCONN WBB is not many times $3M when it comes to brand. I think it's a fraction of $3M.

I like the idea of LSU being successful in WBB, but c'mon...

Isn’t it a no in-person contact period?
