In this case I don't think it was flipping. Softball's new rules will cap rosters beginning in the 2025 season and decisions had to be made to trim roster to that number. I don't believe those young ladies had a choice.

Hate seeing her end up in Houston, but I know she’ll do well. I don’t think this is really a flip situation. From what I heard the Staff told her she would not be able to sign until the April 2025 but that’s through the grapevine.

I hate to see anyone go to the dumpster fire at University of Houston. That coach is on the last year of her contract and she only got the job because she backstabbed the long time head coach... I saw them play at OU and they were very undisciplined... their only runs of the weekend were on a 2 run no doubt homerun when they were down 10-0. The batter did about a 15 foot bat flip...
There were a lot of stories during the summer about how out of control the program is. It came out that one of the players carried a gun with her wherever she went -- even on team trips. It was supposedly told to the Asst AD who did nothing but recite woke statements.
They have a new AD, Eddie Nunez, and he will get that shite straight there soon.
