Shiieet , at the right time , those volcanic eruptions are down right scary . I wouldn’t be surprised if the whole island is done away with in the next 20 years or so .

Not as good as the 5 star #3 QB in the class. The won that won a national championship as a true freshman????

I'll take 3/4th of the older brother's talent in the younger brother. That's a dynamite QB.

I've seen his highlights, kid is going to be great wherever he goes.

Yep, and went to the ship! Strong D like this year can carry a team

Nah, not anymore. If you don't have an offense, you aren't going anywhere. Too many powerful offenses to expect a defense to hold everybody. Bama and Clemson both have top defenses, yet have games where they HAVE TO score 30+ to win.

A strong D can get you 9-10 games, but the offense has to come alive vs the best teams

And the RB (Spivey) that averaged 13 YPC for them that we offered wasn't good enough for LSU fans.

He's going to be a very good player for Arkansas.

We offered him and he hasn’t signed with Arky yet. Very appropriate to discuss on here. If we can’t get Emery I want Spivey.

Did Kardell confirm that he was talking about a QB? If not, he could've been talking about the Sopshers.

I didn't say it wasn't appropriate to discuss here. I was indicating my opinion on his relative talent level and my prediction of where he,will end up.

So a person who would be a very good player for Arkansas isn't good enough for us? Is that a joke?

It's my opinion. I will clarify it for you. My opinion is that Spivey is good enough to play at LSU in 2-3 years, but LSU needs 2 guys at the RB position who can likely contribute next year. In comparison, he could contribute for Arkansas next year. So, unless Sanders, Emery, and Cain are all off the board by January, Spivey will likely end up at Arkansas or a comparable program.

Interesting.

So why, in your opinion, is Spivey not ready to contribute at LSU?

He's 6'1" 210 and plays 7A football in high school. So its not a size or competition thing I assume.

I think he's ready to contribute, but even if I didn't, why would we need 2 to contribute? We'll have CEH, Curry, and Tyrion Davis. That's damn solid stable. What would Noah Cain do to make that group better than Spivey couldn't? I think the one thing lacking from that group is a true homerun threat, which isn't Cain, but definitely could be Spivey.

Has been headed to Bama since his family relocated from Hawaii two years ago. The deal is all but done.

We will bring in two backs in this class but maybe only one of them will actually get relied upon for a few touches per game. A lot of people are really sleeping on how good Curry is going to be this year. By the end of the season Curry will be at 15 touches a game or so if not more and going into next season will be the true starter and get the 20-25 touches that comes with being the work horse number 1 guy.
