3. CB DJ Pickett
School: Zephyrhills (Fla.)
Status: Committed to LSU
Scout’s Take: “It’s a very strong cornerback class, especially at the top, in the 2025 cycle. DJ Pickett projects being recruited as a corner, and he’s a unique prospect at that position. He’s very tall, north of 6’3 and probably closer to 6’4. He’s long and rangy and has elite length and has high-end athleticism and ball skills to go with that. His wingspan is 6’11 and runs a 10.6 in the 100 meters, so at a traits-based position, he registers as an elite prospect in that regard. When you see how he plays on Friday nights, it’s even more encouraging with more than 1,000 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns and also plays safety for his high school. He’s not afraid to be a physical run defender, and compared to the other cornerbacks in this class, he’s both the most physically gifted and the most physical. That’s a really encouraging combination, and while he still needs to convert to corner from a technical standpoint, we don’t have any concerns about that because of his movement skills and athleticism.” — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and
Rankings

17. RB Harlem Berry
School: St. Martin’s Episcopal (La.)
Status: Committed to LSU
Scout’s Take: “Harlem Berry is the most electric running back in the 2025 cycle, with the ability to be a game-changer in the passing game. He possesses elite burst and effortless movement skills. He transfers his outstanding top end speed onto the field in a functional way and is a threat to take it to the house on any touch. For a young back, he displays outstanding vision, reads blocks and bursts through the line to the second level. The game moves slow for him at the prep level. He has the ability to run through contact and shows balance that belies his size. During the summer prior to his senior season, he showcased advanced pass catching skills and could legitimately line up at receiver. — Cody Bellaire, On3 National Scout

with michigan QB situation what are odds he gets some NIL thrown his way?
especially if Nuss decides to come back for sr year, is Underwood gonna wanna sit a year

I wonder where Stewart ends up if he ends up in the 2025 class. With only 1 season of high school ball under his belt keeping him in the Top 10 might be a stretch.

This is why i want to slap people who keep getting on Kelly. This class from top to bottom, along with our coaching staff, will make us a top 5 team. Talking about firing him and all this crap, these idiots have lost their minds. Im looking at big picture here. Once we get through the rough waters of the rest of this year and next year, the last 6 years of his contract will be the platnium era of LSU football.

With the bowl game included, Nuss is on pace for 3900 yards and 40 TDs. Nuss could be a first round pick after this year, and will be after next year if he comes back.

Best QB that LSU has ever recruited and it’s not really close.

Jayden daniels was #35 overall, and #1 dual threat. I know we didn't out of high school... but people forget he was a 5 star and as good as it gets as a hs prospect.
This class has so many high impact pieces.. future is bright.

Imagine thinking you need to wait thru 4 seasons to make LSU compete at a high level.
This is a ridiculous outlook that assumes every kid we have stays committed and turns out to play up to their star rating.
I'm excited about this class but acting like once we get them in here we'll just be Georgia is dumb.

Ryan Perrillloux would like a word.
I agree Bryce is the best, saying it’s not really close is a stretch.

Underwood was built in a lab and he's still just a puppy scratching the surface of his potential. Any site that doesn't have him as #1 prospect is sketch.

Michigan actually really likes the QB they have committed already
But, for Underwood, I think Michigan’s poor QB play continues to hurt them.
Bryce already said when you look at Michigan’s history of producing QBs it’s not that good (he forgot about JJ with his statement). But you could tell he’s just not enamored with the Wolverines. And their staff knows it.

quote:You do realize i said 2026 and onward, right? You're acting like it's hard to predict LSU from going 9-3 to 11-1/12-0 with improved personnel on the field. You act like we dont already have a bevy of elite position coaches. We had a great 2024 class and the 2025 class is adding in tons of elite speed, length, and beef at all positions. thing is LSU getting elite talent and developing it is not much different from a top Florida school, UGA, or Bama. It is because of the guys we get, that i can project ghose type of years. Look at Louisiana in 2026. Look at the QBs in 2027.

We are looking at the outline of the puzzle. All the edge pieces are in place, and we are going to start filling in the middle. Atrition is going to do wonders for this defense. Guys like Burns, Sage, JK, etc, will alll be gone, and these coaches get to mold these new guys from the ground up. LSU already has a plan for the pay as well. I think Kelly said each year will be around 16 mill.

Technically, Jayden was not a 5 star coming out of high school. According to 247’s individual and composite rankings, he was a 4 star. A very highly ranked 4 star, but still a 4 star.

That is impressive. He made some incredible throws. Signing day can't get here fast enough.
