This would give LSU much needed depth going into the 2018 season with a seasoned player and a year under his belt learning Aranda's scheme in our S&C program. Would be an extremely good get for us and 'slightly' diminish the sting of losing out on Big Marv.

He's an absolute physical beast. He went to TT because his brothers went there, but I guess he's looking for a step up in competition and coaching. I don't think there is any personal baggage either, would take him in a heartbeat.

He doesn't need to. In college two players can have the same number if one is on offense and the other plays defense.

Good article. Sounds like the guy is very level-headed. He is saying and doing the right things in what's a tough decision for him.

If you read the ESPN article right above your post, it says his two brothers played there. But now he just feels it's the right place at the wrong time.

Not any I know of, I think Oklahoma was really the main school he had a connection with other than TT. He enrolled early and shut his recruitment down pretty early. There were no visits, reported offers. or much connecting him to LSU at the time.
If I had to bet I'd say he ends up at a PAC 12 school.

Agreed. BOTH would be superb additions providing much needed depth and competition. The OT played extensively at a FR at CU...he must bring something to the table.
