20 years will have passed since Eli left Ole Miss by the time Arch gets to college.

The Mannings worked with Cutcliffe during the off-season their entire NFL careers. That relationship is definitely still there.

Secondly, Cutcliffe is a Duke now, not Ole Miss or Tennesee

Ole Miss hadn’t won anything of significance since the 60’s when Eli got there.

LSU is in a much better spot than they were when Eli and Peyton were getting recruited.

This I agree with and I am not saying LSU doesn’t have a shot I’m just saying that the favorite right now is wherever Cutcliffe is when it is time for Arch’s graduation.

I wonder what a Howard commit would mean to Holstein considering it sounds like the parents moved him to a different hs to avoid being behind Howard.

Howard is a year older so all things being equal, he was going to be the starter at STM. He is also from a very influential Lafayette family.

I don’t think Holstein will be afraid of the challenge at the college level. I assume there was some concern that he wasn’t going to get a fair shot this year and would have to wait until his senior year to be the starter.

It will be interesting to see how it plays out over the next seven years

I am not familiar with the STM offense scheme but Holstein will likely get 3 yrs in the starter spot at ZHS that runs a spread offense similar to LSU. Infact I would not be surprised if ZHS is xeroxing the playbook...

Maybe the lure of being the only Manning with a National Championship would be interesting to him?

Basically it looks like this year LSU copied the same offense STM has been running for several years.

If Walker ends up at LSU, he will fit in just fine.

Holstein's father will screw up his recruiting just like he did for Caleb. History will repeat itself!

Didn't another stm guy say you were lying about that and you then said Skip Holtz told you the story?

It was a higher up in the Tech athletic dept... you can tell the father is a meddler by moving his family to Zachary so his son can avoid competing( w/walker Howard ) for the QB position at STM . Caleb was left to fend for himself in Lafayette while dad was worried about the young son's future! My story is accurate !

This ain’t the nfl man. He isn’t getting paid to hold a clipboard

Every rep counts for a high school player to show college what they can do. It makes sense to sit behind another high caliber QB
