I don't understand this! We (LSU football coaches and fans) get all bent out of shape when someone commits to LSU and then bails for a different team; however, we offer a kid a scholarship and now we are possibly telling (not telling) the kid to look elsewhere so that we can free up a spot for a possible "maybe"?!?!?! Seems like a little double standard.

Im not sure how to take this at all. Thomas is the kind of guy to be about leaking something like this if he was convinced that it was the and also I believe he'd leak it if he even slightly thought it was true...so idk what the truth is here about it all. The younger brother in question is smart enough to realize he's not in position to supplant his older brother at Bama in what would be Tuas 3rd season and also what would be Burrows 2nd if he were to stay after this year that is. Maybe the kid sees the opportunity to come into a program that's got a top 3 class coming in and sees the type of players already in on the train...Maybe he also has heard of others who also be coming in as well that aren't yet public on it....but this is not just nothing at all. Where there is smoke there is fire and at the very least something has been said to Kardell that made him think it's a done deal in his view of it ...Stingley and Thomas have been recruiting hard and two top 15 players carry some weight I'm sure.
