For Funches it sounds like a Mississippi state and Gonzaga battle with LSU looking in from the outside. We’re not necessarily out of it, but more so still mulling over if we wanna jump in the bidding war. We’ll know a lot more after his LSU visit this week.

Was it confirmed that Funches is visiting this weekend? I saw Lomax committed to SMU so I assume he will not be here.

Why we getting so many sf. That would be our 3rd. I do think he will be the best anyway

Wing depth was the main area we wanted to recruit. If everything goes to plan, both DJ Thomas and Jalen Reece will be back next year so we didn’t need to take a point guard this cycle.
We’ll have PJ Carter, Mackinnon, Rashad King, Sutton, and Tamba running out of eligibility so recruiting the wing in high school and after the season in the portal is gonna be important for us.
We were interested in one center, Sam Funches, but that also isn’t an area of need since Reed, Miller, and Nwoko will all still have eligibility left. I predict Reed will be off to the NBA after this season but there will still be a lot of SEC experience between Miller and Nwoko

Never know who will pop in the spring signing period. Coaching changes could also cause flips, but of course that swings both ways. Hopefully the Tigers make the dance and McMahon will have a spring board to the next incredible Climb to the Top.

After watching the football team lose once again against Vanderbilt this time I'm puzzled why more NIL isn't spent on the basketball team instead they pour millions on a dying football team too. We wouldn't have a problem making the tournament then.
