You do know that Texas signed Colt McCoy that year, right?

Are you sure? I remember that those fans were really pissed for years about hat last minute flip for that reason of not getting a solid replacement. I might go and check those classes but if your dates are straight, then Colt must have already been there before RPs defection.

I was there as well. AD is such a monster. Just think if he packed on a few more pounds. Could be absolutely dominant

Yeah, I just checked it out. He had to have been there already. I'm sure that Colt didn't get his offer on signing day that year.

Texas still had a good one that year but they sure as hell were tore up about RP!

:sigh. We are working to flip a 5 star OT and all people can do is complain about C Rob.

Look guys we didn't get C Rob because the last top O lineman we have sent to the league was andrew Whitworth. There is no denying that Bama has dominated us in that catagory. So Les did what he had to and got new blood to coach up the O line to adress this issue. Can we let it go now?

Yup. That's the last big name top guy. Barksdale is in the league but wasn't a top pick. We have had a few late round guys but we haven't had a top half of the draft guy since whit.

Actually I just checked. The only two LSU O lineman in the NFL right now are Barksdale and Whitworth. Bama has 7. Once Grimes starts sending guys to the league, our recruiting of elite O Line talent will pick up. It's a miracle we got guys like clapp and brum. Les had to make a change and credit to him for doing it.

How is Tejas feeling about the brothers being on campus this weekend? Are they confident they keep em' in the fold? Personally I hope they are freaking out...

They're freaking out, but not anymore than they have been the last 4 years with the way their program has declined

And on Bradley Sylve! And Raheem Falkins! And Trovon Reed! And Kenny Bell!

Honestly I have no idea how we have won any games without this group of certain hall of farmers.

We didn't want Cameron Sims. We still don't.

As secretive as this visit has been, I doubt we hear any news on this until it either happens or doesnt. Been watching the Crystal Balls closely for any indications but nothing so far.

Our low coaching turnover in the Miles Era has paid larger dividends than many could imagine, and usually when it does happen it's an upgrade. Miles is doing all he can, but when someone says distance is a factor I don't get my hopes up a whole lot for an OOS guy

I talked to both of these guys outside JLs last night for a good 30 minutes. The older brother said he had committed to LSU that day but I talked to the younger brother and he said he loved LSU and is for sure coming here. Really nice guys and they were with their cousin who is a Junior guard here at LSU.
