Paz is another Cam Johnson. Perhaps, you don't understand the basic baseball pitcher's principle. If you can't throw strikes, you aren't a good pitcher. As far as "Jay and Yeski both thought"... blah, blah, blah, If you think those two are perfect, you didn't keep up with this year's LSU team. It STUNK! And the pitching was PATHETIC! LSU ERA was near the bottom of the SEC. Sssssoooo don't give me the standard crap that coaches are perfect in evaluation. I go by performance, NOT potential.
As far as team comparison from different leagues, irrelevant. We are talking about individuals, NOT teams. Paz is NOT a big loss...just like Cam Johnson has proven not to be a big loss. About to hit his 3rd team in 3 years.

Perhaps you missed that Cam Johnson improved to have a decent year at OU this year. He was a weekend starter this year for the team that won the championship. Help me understand if this is performance or potential.
I trust both coaches history of success. Even the best have years where things don't fall into place. Maybe we should compare their baseball knowledge to yours.
Keep acting like competition doesn't matter. Strange hill to die on. The league a player builds his stats is completely relevant. You are just wrong.
You do you. I am not going to argue with you over this. I wanted to keep Paz on this team.
