We normally put these articles about the "future stars" on the last page of the 2014/2015 thread. We're putting this here and asking you guys to let us know if you want us to keep doing this or keep putting them on the last page of the 2014/2015 thread.
We changed Flowers height and weight from 5'11" 175 to 6'1" 195 & moved him up in the pecking order. I hope there are many more of the 2014 & 2015 guys that have grown taller. He has Youtube video on page one of the sticked thread.

Shaq, Bron, D-Wade, and The Playmaker are easily identifiable nicknames in sports.
Miami Jackson has a player that is steadily rising to that level of stardom in junior quarterback Quinton Flowers — or as he increasingly becoming known as just “Winky”.
Flowers, who was an All-Dade performer in 2011, enters the 2012 season as arguably the best quarterback in South Florida and one of the best in the nation for the Class of 2014.

Last season Flowers, who grew during the summer and will be listed at 6-1, 195 pounds this season, accounted for nearly 3,200 yards of total offense (jnearly 2,500 passing) and racked up 33 total touchdowns.

Miami Herald recruiting analyst Larry Blustein has compared Winky to another quarterback with a catchy nickname.
“I’ve been telling everyone he can be the next RGIII,” Blustein said, comparing Flowers to Heisman Trophy winner and Washington Redskins rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III. “While he may not be a hurdler like Griffin was, he’s fast and he definitely has the arm to be a big-time college quarterback.”

I like seeing threads with information like this posted to the main page. The threads with 100 players in them are kind of overwhelming.

I love it in a thread like this, more compact and ease of use.

chinese, thanks for posting this.. i heard about him over the summer from a friend of mine from FL and i've watched some film on him.. he's going to be incredible.. i already know that some idiot is going to come in here and say 'no we don't need another JJ playing QB for us'... and this thread will derail quickly.. so before that happens i'd just like to say that he's going to be good, and i'd love it if he took his talents to baton rouge

Definitely prefer the individual threads when a prospect is big-time and LSU is in the hunt.
Any indication besides the Rivals profile that he is interested in LSU?

Don't remember. I put him in the 2014 thread four or five months ago when I subscribed to Scout. I can't remember if I read an article about him or just saw he had LSU listed on both Scout & Rivals. His Scout profile is what's linked in the thread. If someone still has access to those articles wants to tale a look, they might find something mentioning LSU in one of them.
