He played his last year of eligibility at Wisconsin. He was at NC State before that.

I'll take Gibson but in no way think we get him and in no way do I think he would ever play QB at LSU. He would be a wr or te here. Hes not a qb. Hes an athlete. Basically an updated and improved version of Russell Shepard.

Just to break down his top 4 because as postes earlier, ath this point that's all that matters.

Tennessee-he may always have a spot but they may not wait on him. If Zach Gentry wants to commit they will accept it. Cant speak to the talent they have on campus to compare.

Auburn-if he plays qb, Auburn is perfect. Still, can he beat out Johnson and what happens with Queen?

OSU-some will say hes perdect for them but I differ on that opinion. Meyers qbs have to be able to make throws or the offense stalls and Gibson shows no signs of being a capable thrower. Secondly, I don't think he can beat Barrett or Cardale Jones for the job and maybe not Collier either.

LSU-already said it, he wouldn't play qb here. Cam may be good but he can't make chicken salad out of chicken shite. The kid is not a qb. He has solid, exciting plays on a highlight tape playing qb, great, so did Kendall Beckwith, Melvin Jones and Speedy Noil. None of those guys will ever be mistaken for legit qb prospects. Did we learn anything from Russell Shepard? Athletic kids with noodle arms does not a qb make. Gibsons 5* ranking as a QB is probably the biggest joke since Sheppard. He may be a 5* athletebut not a qb.

Might want to tell Cam this, since he's the one wanting Gibson bad enough to make him his top choice at QB.

This post is pretty funny. Cam wants Gibson. Tennessee wants Gibson more than they want Gentry. Cardelle Jones can't really through and I'm pretty sure Gibson can beat Barrett out one on one. Watch Harris from his junior year tape to his senior year tape. He made an amazing leap from being a 2 year project to a possible true freshman starter. Gibson has a big arm too. As long as he remains dedicated, this guy can be lethal in a spread offense. You are forgetting that guys like Manziel and RG3 were 3 stars in Texas who colleges like Texas, wanted as defensive backs. I think he could light it up in that wide open Ohio State offense.

Ohio State is the team to watch IMO. He hasn't visited there yet, and he is always talking about them. I think he has already visited all of his top 3.

Truth.

No idea if we get him, but OSU has to feel good about being top 5 with no visit yet. Supposed to visit over the summer and then on an official in the fall.

Til he visits more than once, I'm not sold we have a real shot though

I'm surprised he hasn't tweet out "No particular order" yet.
