One of my biggest fears is this staff will try to find/settle for diamonds in the rough instead of playing at the big boys table for big name prospects

Did they do that with the portal last year? No. They went after a mix. We got one of the top 5 CBs and OTs. They also got Wingo, who didn’t come with a lot of hype but became one of the more critical players on the defense after Smith went down. Gardner was also undervalued as well and he’s now leaving a very solid draft grade. Expect more of the same this year.

What is your point? You think they offer based solely on his evaluation? It doesn't go to Polian or BK first anyway, it goes through LSU's SCOUTING department who comb through thousands of prospects. They make a list of who they might want to look at and the coaching staff makes the evaluation/offers. Polian isn't the decider here, it's BK's decision.

What's with you morons? The Baker is right. Y'all are drawing strawman arguments about something he didn't even say. And he's right about what he did say.

Stewart played HS football at the same school that produced Isaiah Likely (Ravens), Lewis Cine (Vikes), and Mike Sainristil (Michigan). Cine played his last year in Texas, I believe. If Stewart had done that, he probably never would've ended up at Coastal.

Looks like a perfect BJO replacement
Let’s see if he can play on this level first …Tremond Shorts looked pretty good too

Is he fast enough to play linebacker. Why are we going after these small dlinemen. We need guys big enough to set the edge

On film, he looks bigger than 235 and a lot bigger than BJ. Wiggins will give us more size and speed on the end. Womack will also be that type of player.

Harold Perkins lists as 6' 2" 220lbs.
It would suck to have another one of him huh?

Harold Perkins
Harold is not a defensive end …and does not always line up on the edge …A defensive end has to be able to stop the run too
