I would say take out chase or sierra on floor once kj comes back. See who’s warming up better but I say chase because her leaps are better than sierra’s. I would actually have to see Lincoln on floor before I could say about her.
Given how incredible Kaliya was on floor at the elite level, I’m not worried about her coming back on that event or executing well. Just watch her 2023 championships routine for goodness sake

Bars I don’t know if they will change it with Lexie getting better and I imagine that would be Haleigh’s last event to come back.
For whatever reason, Zeiss has been struggling to break the 9.85 barrier on bars so far this year even when she hits. It doesn’t make sense to me but that’s just the facts. We already know what the judges think about how Haleigh does bars based on her scores from past years. If she’s able to do bars, I’d rather have Haleigh over Lexi for post season on that event because the lower the score we start with, the harder it will be to get bigger scores at the end of the lineup at nationals

There is a big difference between elite and college. I’m not worried about her skills. I’m worried about her execution and how she handles being on a team.

I'm just happy (also shocked) the gymternet is roasting Florida for their scores this year like they have always been so quick to roast us and OU.
Not scared of this Florida team whatsoever. Postseason Mizzou are more of a threat than them.

A 9.925 for that routine is an ABSOLUTE JOKE!! If one of our girls made that pass their score would be in the 9.7s!!

So now that ga has found themselves a coach, do we think that Garrett is now the heir apparent to jay when he retires? I say definitely yes. I think by the time the ga position comes around their allegiance may change, especially with their kids growing up in B.R.

Florida had a rough meet in Arkansas tonight 196.55. Arky won with a 197.175.

tough win on the road and they fought hard.
this had all the makings of being another trap meet, but they got it done.
kaliya's floor debut was very nice. i think once kj is back, kaliya is the new leadoff. hopefully kj is back on floor next week. sierra thrived last year doing only one event, so i think her off of floor will help get her beam back where we know she can get it.

I want to see our veterans back on their game next week. Konnor please own the beam as you did last year and Aleah, Nat'l Floor Champ, shine brightly when Oklahoma comes to BR.

I would like to see Aleah rested this week. Maybe just do intrasquad. She doesn’t need the practice as much as I think she needs the rest for this weekend against Oklahoma . Her and Kailyn both.
ETA: by rested I mean no practice this week. Not resting her against Oklahoma.

Honestly if KJ and Kaliya are in the floor lineup seems like Aleah could use the week off even with it being against OU

Nah you don't bench Aleah Finnegan on floor at home vs. Oklahoma.
She has earned the right to make her errors and sort it out.
Jay stuck with her as the closer on balance beam when even I was calling for her to be shuffled around and given weeks off because she was not consistent with her triple series. His faith was rewarded and she won us the ultimate prize with that very routine.

Yeah they have to put the best lineups out and hope Aleah can hit. After this weekend you can definitely give some breaks.

I personally would rather lose this weekend, with a good score, and beat Kentucky with a good road score. I just think beating Oklahoma at least 2x’s in a season is going to be really hard and I would rather beat them at sec’s or 4 on the floor.

Chio got freshman of the week again but she really should have gotten gymnast of the week. She had the higher aa score over f. Torres. Is there a reason for this? Then they could
Have given Jocelyn or Lily Peterson freshman of the week. Has it been this way in way past?
Also Isabella Magnelli is and has been one of my fav gymnasts for years. I love her leaps and don’t know if anyone does them better. I will be sad to see her graduate next year. She was specialist of the week.

Chio has lived up to the hype and then some. She has been awesome. If we can get Hailey and jk healthy by the post season, we will be in great position to win again. I don't think any other program can beat Oklahoma but us.
