I'm surprised at this year as well. Jay is always great at recruiting and thought coming of the Natty we would be in an even stronger position. It really doesn't help that OU scooped up like 7 incredibly strong girls. I am hoping for more but I kinda get the sense that Jayla values academics so I'm not sure how strong a chance we have. Simone, she would be great, but again she doesn't really have LSU vibes to me.
Annalisa will be strong on floor and vault for sure. I think with careful skill selection, she could be usable on beam. Some of the leaps are an issue in the video above but she has a good range of acro skills and the acro form is nice. LSU did very well with polishing eg Ballard, so I am quite hopeful.
Had a look at Malea's videos too and she is going to be further away from lineups, but should provide good depth and usable routines on floor. Beam too I think is a similar situation to Annalisa. Doesn't hurt to have more options.
Neither of the Miltons seem like bars workers, but that shouldn't be so bad given Hezly, Mustari the year before, and the current freshmen + Miller when she returns.

NCAA has the chance to do the funniest thing: reject the 20 gymnast scholarship limit. KJ Kindler and Oklahoma would have to cut a fourth of their class.

One person I had in mind is an up and coming L10 gymnast Audree Valdenarro. She was at LSUs camp this summer and allegedly stood out. She was coming back off an ACL this year

Tigerbait, It looks like she has visited Michigan and Auburn. Do you think she may visit LSU ? This is the last home game for a couple of weeks so surely there will be recruits coming this Friday. Any info on who plans to be on campus?
Audree is from California right?

I would love to see Sabrina Visconti visit. She’s training some big skills and has nice form. She’s really only been talked about a lot for the last year or so. Maybe a late bloomer or could’ve had injuries before. The LSU coaches have been liking her posts in recent weeks/months.

May be wrap for this class which would be a bit shocking

I really thought there would be recruits on campus this weekend. This has been an unusual recruiting year for the program IMO. There are still several recruits in this class that could be competitive with another year or so of improvement.

I don’t have the schedule of visits this year. It’s possible they still host another recruit or two last minute, and I expect LSU to still use the portal. Jay has been adding quite a few lately Alexis, Cam, Hoffman, Sav, weilbacher, etc
Hezly is your elite all around gymnast. Annalisa will be a strong vault and floor worker. I assumed they may have wanted to another another strong bars/beam worker potentially
Zoe is basically redshirting so she will essentially be part of the 2025 class now with 4 years of eligibility
Cameron Tassone Is another L10 gymnast I like but I don’t think LSU is in contact

I guess she wasn't interested in visiting BR.

Didn’t think she would be considering she’s from Seattle (also considering the history of her home gym)

Zeiss is my sleeper this year. Her form has cleaned up a bit since getting to LSU

I sure hope they explore the depth of vault this season. Love Hay but I sure hope we utilize more of our girls this season. No more 5th years after this season so we will lose all but 5 routines from last year. Would love to see a lot of Coco this year, Annie on beam(not in a do or die situation), and Bryce again. I love our freshman and I hope they ease them in like they did Konnor and Amari last year. If they don’t use chase on vault I don’t expect to see her at all. I hope they don’t over use Alonya (no to bars!) And they can use Livvy like they did last year and I would be fine with that. Sierra only needs to be beam leadoff but also need to try someone else there sometimes and figure out who will be a solid starter for next season. I’m no longer worried about recruiting. We have plenty of pieces from 25 class and hope we get great 27 class. I agree with someone else that said would love for them to say no to 20 schollys and see what Oklahoma would do. No way can use all those girls. it’s Oklahoma so they’re not going there for anything other than a ring or playing time, ala bama 5 years ago. The schools not great and neither is the area. lol

We have 3 freshmen that can be day one contributors on vault between Chio, Lincoln and Zeiss. I do want to see LSU hit the 1.5's a bit more consistently this coming season. Felt like that was a weaker spot for us last year, we obviously had Haleigh and Kiya to give a boost to finish it off but we have the talent and routines to go to another level here.
Chio IMO is gonna be in the AA by post season just looking at lineup projections.

I personally don't think she is gonna be back on bars but I can see Alyona trying to be competitive on vault and maybe potentially floor, but floor is gonna be tough for anyone to break IMO. And Lincoln is sure to be in this lineup day 1 and probably be in the middle of the lineup.

I've got a feeling Chio will be in AA by midseason. I know Jay likes to take a cautious approach with freshmen, but Kailin is the real deal. We haven't had such a polished gymnast since Haleigh!
Lexi and the coaching staff really cleaned up her form on vault. I could see her contributing on vault, bars, and possibly beam. I'm interested to see if her form on floor has improved as much as on vault.
Kaliya didn't participate in the intrasquad and I saw her in a boot last week. Once she heals, I hope she's a mainstay in the floor lineup. I wonder if she's going to keep her Y-double or move to a 1.5 like Amari. Her bars also looked great in training.

Also looking forward to seeing how Coen looks now being somewhat healthy for a bit. She was so highly recruited coming to LSU and dealt with injury bug before college
