We’re currently at 20 commits

I think Dreshun Miller flips to A&M brining us to 19 so 6 spots left.

Bama is at 24 commits I think they’ll finish with: Nkobe Dean or Henry To’ot’o, Clay Webb, Evan Neal, Trey Sanders

1. Devonta Lee - Bama has no room, looks like it’s a done deal to the good guys now

2. Jay Ward or Raydarius Jones - I’m pretty sure jays currently a silent but whoever goes public first gets the spot.

3. Siaki Ika - Similiar to Lee, Alabama doesn’t have a scholarship for him.

4. George Pickens - Looks like a decommitment from Auburn is imminent. Would be huge for Tommy Robinson to go pull a top 50 prospect from Alabama.

5. Ishmael Sospher - I think when it’s nutcutting time that Ishmael chooses to play with his brother. He and his brother are incredibly close. O has shown an ability to win recruits families.

6. Rodney Sospher- Package deal for Ishmael.

With Jay Ward and minus Dreshun that would give us a final score of 301.70, that would have been good for 3rd last year and would likely put us at 2nd or 3rd this year.

I would shoot one in the sink if a finish like that happened

I am not convinced....

Hope we get him and I'm wrong

I want Sospher bad obvisouly. I don’t think he’s absolutely Bama Bound. Taking his brother would suck balls though.

That would be a great finish. I still would like Dean and Zipper somehow.

Would rather Dean and pickering instead of the sopshers

Lol yeah. And I would rather Nolan Smith and Kayvon Thibadoeaux over the Sosphers but it ain’t happening.

Maybe we can land Dean but Pickering ship has sailed.

If Dean wanted in I believe we would process T.K. McClendon.

That finish seems reasonable.

Yeah so would I but the downvotes tell me that people are pissed that I think we’ll land a 5 star Defensive tackle and his 3 star brother.

I think so.

1. Devonta Lee - Bama or LSU and Bama doesn’t have room. We’re the overwhelming favorite.

2. Jay Ward or Raydarius Jones - Raydarius is us or Ole Miss. Jay Ward’s only other major offer is Kentucky. We easily could land either.

3. Siaki Ika - Down to us, Bama and Oregon. Bama fans don’t think they have room. O has been recruiting him very hard. I think we could land him.

4. George Pickens - Looks like a decommitment from Auburn is imminent. Will likely be us or Georgia.

5. Ishmael Sospher - Us, A&M or Bama. We’re the only program that has offered him and his brother. That’s our angle. Bama doesn’t have room for his brother and A&M likely isn’t going to use a scholarship on Rodney.

Dean is currently on campus and we’ve had legitimate talks with Pickering for his entire recruitment. Both from MS.

KT is from California and barely showed any thought about LSU
KT showed a ton of interest in LSU early on.

Pickering has also recently reaffirmed his commitment to State and said there’s no chance for a flip. Bama and UGA have led for Dean for over a year.

I would prefer Dean and Pickering as well I just think they’re both highly unlikely at this point.

Lanard was at least a capable player, Rodney is a scrub. I honestly can see both sides of the coin. You can bring up the point of not wanting Rodney and wasting a scholarship there just go get Ishmael when we could get other guys, but who knows how many we acctually wind up on board with. On the other hand you could say well we should at least try and get the 5 star DT, because we saw it work with Fournette, and the one major time we didn’t do this was when we lost out on Ed Oliver.

Correct me if wrong but isn't LSU the only offer to both brothers?

You’re 100% right. That’s our biggest recruiting pitch to him, and I would be surprised if we aren’t trying to hit that at every angle we can.

Yep. Ole Miss landed Robert Nkemdiche by taking his brother.

Basically is boils down to whether or not you think that Ishmael is worth 2 scholarships. Our coaches clearly think he is.

You’re right. Here’s Ishmaels last tweet btw:
quote:

Aye Ik I’m late but I wanna wish a happy birthday to a very special individual in my life, My big brother @RSopsher , he’s another big reason for my success. Can’t wait to play with u on the next level. Love u bro enjoy your day

Ishmael and his brother Rodney are very, very close. That’s pretty much our best shot.

I say better safe than sorry. We will be shooting ourselves in the foot, if in three years Sospher is a projected top 5 pick, and we’ll all be saying “well should have gotten his brother down to LSU too.” You never know, to me a lot of it just rides on the simple fact of not losing a 5 star highly touted guy right from our backyard and to Alabama.
