Florida is not the only school interested in him now. He is starting to get interest from many schools. I would be surprised to see him end up at Moo U now.

good for him, im still happier with pratt and ford

Ford is a no brainer. He should be a 5 star prospect. But what type of player is Pratt? He never gets much press or coverage.

I'm not trying to be a prick, but have you seen all three play. Be honest now.

I don't blame him or LSU. Coaches have to make decisions early about who they will recruit and at what positions. They chose Pratt for power and they may be exactly right. But Montrell is a man-child, has great speed, great cuts, great vision and a HUGE motor. You haven't heard the last of his recruitment. Teams are coming out of the woodwork according to one of his coaches I talked to last week. Florida did offer at runningback and more are on the way.

I'll just say this. You can compare Connor to the Sentimore situation without the grade isssues. We are pretty locked in at RB and know which direction we are headed. But Jeffsdad MIGHT be right. The decision might have been made a little early.

Time will tell.

Pratt is 6'2 225 and 17 years old. he is smooth on his feet and has good instincts with the ball, decent acceleration and quickness but also very powerful. overall one hell of a RB with ridiculous size

this isnt for you crown but for all the bitching people have done about CM not being offered and now we're bringing up conner again. jesus christ we are having one of our best if not the best recruiting classes ever and we still find stuff to bitch about. sure i want CM to get an offer, hell yeah i was sentimore to have an offer like yesterday but the staff obviously evaluated these kids and deemed they eithe dont deserve a full rid through LSU or they need to wait for a grade situation to play itself out. can we please just sit back and enjoy the spoils of what has been an amazing class so far with some huge names attached to it, and there are some meteoric commitments to be had still.

Its a very very big mistake for LSU to miss out on this kid. He is the best I have seen in a long time. Shows was really giving him some praise.

Shows said in pre-game that MC got an offer from Florida yesterday.....I wonder if that was just a typical exaggeration by Shows or if MC really got one? Anyone know?

This just happens to be a year in which several outstanding running backs are on the radar for LSU. They have to make decisions based on what they need for their offense. It's not a knock on Conner or Lacy or Michael. One of those guys may end up joining Ford and Pratt. Either way, us LSU fans win. We get the best of the best no matter who they select.

I'm glad Ford is in the fold at LSU. The guy is a warrior. I know Conner is outstanding as well. I'm rooting for all these guys to excel at the next level.

Ford and Conner are too close to call as far as talent. Ford committed, Conner loses out. Sucks for Conner, but it bees that way sometimes.
