Milking the TSD subscription down to the wire.
In an Erin Hartigan update Justin Manning says he'll be at LSU's camp on July 15th. Doesn't plan to work out just hang on the sidelines.
Claims a top eight of TCU, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, LSU, Oklahoma State, Texas, Arkansas and USC (in no particular order.
Will not use an official for LSU, Texas or OU because he wants to use them for longer trips to schools that he doesn't know well and are too far to drive. One of those will be Arkansas.
If he doesn't commit on Oct. 19th (Kimball's homecoming), he'll wait until some time in Nov. or Dec.
Put this here because of the camp date he named.

the more info the better I have to believe Manning is all oklahoma because of his brother's ties. It's still good to see all these kids from the Houston/Dallas area attending I love it

Word on Manning I've gotten from multiple people from different schools/sites is that Oklahoma is slowplaying Manning hard. He has noticed it as well. If they ever really give him the attention he deserves he'll be their's. Some reports say he has grade issues as well. Imo you push him grade issues or not. Long way to go for him to get qualified and if he doesn't make it in then you have him on your side after prep school or juco if you want. He's worth the risk just to hope he qualifies. Schools take risks on far less talents every year including Oklahoma.

Not sure. In Andrew Bone's Saturday report he said Beckwith and Tim Williams were to come Sunday and stay through Monday.
There have been mentions of Williams on 247 and pictures of him on Scout at the LSU camp.
Makes me wonder if they had at some point told Bone they'd be at Bama but didn't go for some reason. His report today doesn't mention either of them.

Talked to his Dad and he's not at LSU. He went to Oklahoma this weekend, Texas Tech next week, then A&M the 14th. LSU hasn't even sent him a questionnaire. No camp invite either per his Dad. Oklahoma's LB coach and recruiting coordinator pulled him aside Friday. He's a top priority for them. Sounds like you can remove him from prospects of interest for LSU.
