No idea. Everything’s been quiet. Had no clue about the Pennsylvania recruit. So just gonna watch. I believe coach has another verbal commit before lsu football wins the west. ??

Wonder who? Mazi Mosley? Jasir Rencher? Jalen Reece? Chris Cenac?

Wasn’t Marcus Sr’s wife a good volleyball player or something?
Aiysha Smith Spears played basketball for LSU in the 01-02 & 02-03 seasons. She is 6’ 2” and Marcus is 6’ 4”, recipe for tall kids.

Td would melt if Henderson favored lsu.

Rencher will announce this evening (10/3) at 7:30 ct via on3’s YT channel. While LSU had him on a recent visit, it sounds like he will choose A&M today.
Cenac will supposedly take his time even with all the schools after him at the moment. It wouldn’t be surprising if his recruitment goes into the spring.
I thought I read somewhere that Reece may be close to a commitment but I can’t remember. It sounds like it’s an LSU/Providence battle there.

According to the on3 visit tracker, Jamarion Davis-Fleming and Shelton Henderson are supposed to visit this weekend but it sounds like one or both of those won’t happen. Davis-Fleming is a Mississippi State lean and Henderson a Duke lean based off their RPM’s. 4-star SG Courtland Muldrew was supposed to visit at some point this weekend too but he committed to Washington yesterday.
I think we now know the final HS targets at this point between Jalen Reece and Chris Cenac.

Updated 2025 class and projected roster. Class is looking great so far, looks like we are focusing on Cenac with Rayfield as a back up plan possibly and thats it. Can we get this moved back to the top Chicken?

I think Reed will end up being an NBA guy after this year if all goes planned for him. Should be exciting to watch.

On3 updated their 2025 player rankings Monday and there wasn’t a ton of movement from LSU commits and targets.
Both Chris Cenac (#4) and Matt Gilhool (#70) moved up a few spots. Mosley did fall from #64 to #102 and Reece from #72 to #125 though.

Reed would really have to blow up to be considered ready for NBA
He would be lucky to get drafted in 2nd round at this point
also have to factor in the international class which is unknown at this time
