I just about given up on Gathers but
I don't see Quincy Miller going to the NBA this year, Perry Jones III will most likley go. If Hamilton decides to go, will any of this have an affect on Gathers decision to where he goes to college?

I don't think Gathers is an option. I haven't really thought about him in a while. The only way LSU gets back in with him is if Quannas White has some kind of unknown connection with him or his brother Greg (they are the same age and from New Orleans.).

Can anyone clear up the rumors for me.
1.Justin Hamilton to the NBA/ or europe - Surely he sees the talent coming back, but his minutes/ touches could decline next season anyway
2.Anthony Hickey filed a hardship waiver to transfer to WKU - What? What? What?
3.Johnny O' - Transfer rumors, dont know where
This would gut the team and kill what looks like a promising season assuming TJ can get some late impact signees for depth

Haven't heard. Don't think this is true. Western Kentucky returns their entire backcourt. Hickey started at LSU since day 1.

Have heard, but don't think this is true. He started at LSU and will continue to start. Why would he transfer, sit out a year, and risk a battle for playing time at some other school.
Anything is possible and I would never put anything past irrational teenagers, so who knows. However, I would be very surprised if 2 and 3 happened, but not 1.

It says on that link that Hickey has a kid in Kentucky and wants to get close to home. However, it is in a section called "Rumor Mill."
I have no idea of the validity of that. I haven't heard anything about it.
I'm tempted to post that link on the Rant, just for the hilarity of the ensuing meltdown. If you would rather do the honors, go ahead.

no joke, when is the deadline for hickey to announce his transfer? i know the nba draft is like april 10th or something, but hickey is a more pressing issue. ive moved on from j hamm, it was fun while it lasted

There is no deadline, except for the last day of late registration at whatever school he wants to go to.

Gotcha, I don't think hickey or job3 are going to leave. Hamilton more than likely but whatever. A nice recruiting class would certainly put their minds at ease I'd think
