I saw where Ezewiro isnt signing early. I wonder if he will ever actually make it to campus. The few games I watched of his I was not impressed whatsoever

Colbert reminds me of a young Jarell Martin. Idk if he will ever be able to handle the break down a defense like Martin showed occasionally, but when he grows into his frame I think he can be a force on the glass and inside. He shows a decent looking jumper do

Ezewiro is already signed, he doesnt have to sign again. He would only sign again if he is released from his LOI.

I still say we ultimately release him because I think we can definitely do better there but we are holding him in the back pocket for now.

According to 247, Murray signed today.

ETA: See that Murray and Colbert have signed.

The real question here is can he go between the legs?

Same. Been a season ticket holder since Trent Johnson's second year. I've steadily moved down from the 300's to midcourt annually to get some of the blue hairs out of there lol.

Also, it was hella impressive that he did it during a game. Doing it in practice is one thing; doing it when the clock is running is next level confidence.

Do we know anything about Fudge's paperwork? He's the clear star of this class, so I'm anxious awaiting his signature.

If lsu fans can’t adopt a basketball culture in the next few years idk what to say. When the PMAC is rocking (see Vandy two years ago) it’s awesome. Otherwise it’s quite pathetic to be honest. Hopefully we get there.

This is another reason Covid really sucks. With football being down this year combined with the likelihood of basketball being good and exciting, the program could’ve taken the next step in garnering and solidifying more fan support and following. But with not allowing much in the stands, that will still be a little tough.

This may have already been discussed, but was 2021 a "down" year for basketball recruiting in Louisiana? I didn't see anyone from LA in top ranking by recruits for 2021. Wade is pulling guys from all over the country, which is fantastic, but I also remember LA generating good hoop talent. Is 2021 an off year or a trend for the state of HS in LA?

Wade said he will always go after the best players in the state. He will also use Louisiana ties to get players into the squad. For example, our highest rated signee for 2021 is Fudge. Fudge has Louisiana ties with family in the Lafayette area.
