Committed to LSU for baseball but between the draft and a couple of schools offering him to play both sports in college - will be interesting to see what happens with Barbe's Griffin.
Owens said it wasn’t uncommon to see a lot of Griffin during the summer. One of the nation’s top center fielders, Griffin spent a good portion of the time competing in showcase events in California, North Carolina, Maryland, Georgia and Florida.
He also competed for a spot with one of USA Baseball’s age-group teams and took batting practice in a Major League Baseball stadium.
“He’s all over the country,” he said. “He was spread out all over. He made three practices for football.”
Griffin, the team’s leading rusher this year with 541 yards on 46 carries (11.8 yards per carry) and 8 TDs, has several offers to play both football and baseball at Ole Miss, UL, McNeese State and Old Dominion.

I think his height is an issue, especially with MLB.
