Jay did confirm that Brown will get a look on the mound. Jay also called this the best freshman class he ever recruited. That is usually coach talk, but I agree with him. I'm excited to see everyone of these guys. With NIL, this the direction things are trending. Next year's class is loaded as well.

Where was that interview? I'd like to listen.

Hunt Palmer had Jay on his show a couple of days ago and Jay said both Shores and Noot are healthy and ready to go from that perspective.
Talked about the returning leadership that Braswell and Jones will give the team.
Jay talked up Arrambide and Priester at catcher obviously. Threw Frey and Jones out there too along with some of the portal guys (didn't name any of them).
He said Dickerson will get opportunities at SS. Also mentioned 2nd and 3rd base for him.
Nothing really new IMO.

I heard that as well. Sounds like Arrambide and Priester would be the catchers, which we all expected. I'm paraphrasing, but when Jay mentioned Jones and Frey it was something like, 'and we have transfers that are hitters that can also catch. we still have Jared and Ethan Frey that have the ability to catch even though that may not be in the front of their mind..'

It was on youtube.com. can't find the link but it was tiger rag by Jake McMains. "Are you serious ".
It wasn't real informative. Hunt palmer interview sounds better.

I haven't looked at the list, just the graphic on twitter, but BA's transfer portal rankings have uncommitted Aiva Arquette at the top, followed by 9 guys that will play in the SEC next year.
2 Dickinson
4 Eyanson
8 Sheerin

I admittedly know nothing about Arquette outside of his numbers... But how is he the number 1 transfer? His numbers are decent but aren't necessarily incredible. I guess it's a weaker class overall.

Was injured as a freshman it seems. But he’s a big projectible 6’3” SS with some pop. I would imagine there aren’t many difference maker SS left out there like him
He’s also having a great Cape summer playing mostly SS

He’s a dude. Hopefully he goes to Oregon State and not Miss State or Aggie

Sounds kind of like Jacob Gonzales. Makes sense.

I never got the hype on him.

Another player that just never impressed

Neither did I, but I at least saw the scouts' vision there. Tall rangy SS who had +power ability. His production just never lined up with all of that projectability. He's struggling in AA right now.

Zerrick Jones was one hell of a 2 sport athlete. A single for him was a double because he was goin to steal 2nd guaranteed
