What happens to a kid cut from a roster right before the season starts? Do they usually go JUCO from there?

I wonder how Eyanson's visit went.

We are really loading up on the RHP it seems

I don't think it's loading up on RHP. I think it's loading up on pitchers. They just happen to all be right handed. I'm sure Jay would make a couple of them left handed if he could. It's just the way it's unfolded based on who's entered the portal and from whom we've been able to gain a commitment.

Koki Riley put out a roster status article today. Really hyped up the possibility of Daniel Arambula making it to LSU.

And he gets paid for that.

Didn't see this posted earlier but Noot made his first appearance in the Cape Saturday

1 IP, 3H, 3R, 2ER, 1BB, 1HBP, 0K.

I didn't see it so not sure how he looked. But good to see him getting out there.

Nice.

Numbers don't matter at this point. Just need to see him pitching and continue pitching at this point.

LSU is having kid baseball camps this week. Several players are there: Braswell, Milam, Frey, Lape, & Paul. Does anyone know why these guys aren't playing summer ball? I'm guessing injuries might be the case for at least some (Lape, Frey).

I snagged a couple of pics of the construction on the field. I'll post when I get a chance.

DJ Primeaux is up to 12.1 innings this summer

3.65 ERA, 11H, 4BB, 15K, 1.216 WHIP. Hasn't given up a HR. Does have 2 HBP. I'd be ecstatic with numbers like this out of the pen.

Right he’s got a whole fall to work his way back into form.

He had only given up 1 ER through his first 9.1 innings. Looks like he made his first start saturday and got roughed up a little - 3 IP, 6H, 4R. 4K/0BB though. Even after one rough appearance, his numbers still look great.

Pics from earlier this morning. I didn't scale them down, b/c it's hard to see the work on the RF bleachers as is. Looks like they are just getting started over there.

Paul also. I think that he was injured this year. It was not before the season began but I am not sure he appeared in a game this season.

I'm compiling a list of all the summer stats for our roster and will update it in a bit...

His ERA is pretty inflated from one unlucky / bad outing. He has been really good

LSU is on Fisher, but so are alot of others

He's not interested in the Tigers only taking the visit to boost his NIL offer per advice from his agent

I’m sure others weren’t interested until they saw what was offered when they got down

Gotta wonder why he wouldn't be interested. Elite program, won a natty a season ago, and you step right into a starting spot in the middle of the lineup.

There are 2 "fishers" in the portal that are being referenced. I think the original post I responded to several days ago was for Cade Fisher.

The one maybe being referenced here is Andrew Fischer (spelled different).

I think Andrew Fischer the 3B from Ole Miss has been rumored to be Tenn, but Florida is in the mix. Not sure why LSU hasn't gotten as seriously in the mix as you have wondered.

Cade Fisher - I think he wants a starting spot guaranteed and LSU can't give him that.

For clarification, I'm talking about Fischer from Ole Miss. That seems like such an obvious plug-and-play for us that you'd think we'd be all over it. Tennessee definitely makes sense.
