It was serviceable before Ida, a fine practice field, but not where you want to have varsity baseball games much less playoff games. It's not even close to operable since Ida. They'll need to put alot of money in to get it back to even a bad practice field.

New to this page but from the information I’m getting seems like you guys have a few younger players in your area that the right people are looking at can anyone tell me if there is any tournaments in the New Orleans area where the crop of these boys play just thought you guys may know Thanks

What age group are you looking for? Regardless, they play all over the place, and alot play outside of Louisiana when you get into the high school kids playing their summer ball with a travel team outside of American Legion (which is dying).

I agree. I’ve always disliked Floyd’s mechanics. Always viewed him as a “thrower” rather than a “pitcher.” I’m sure Wes will get more out of him, but it is harder to make big mechanics changes at this point.

Knox Bregman
What position do we project him at?

Would be better if they had a digital option that wasn't 30 bucks as well. Sorry but I'm not paying 30 bucks for a Guillbeau book

Sounds like a deal I will be there a few weeks in the fall I can do Diamond talk ever day its where I get the best information . What about the La Catholic league? Who are the Front Runners as far as the teams go?

Aren’t you the scout? You tell us buddy

Catholic League is going to be young across the board. Brother Martin will be loaded again, even though they lost alot - will need to find pitching. Jesuit will be loaded, even though they lost most everybody. Curtis will be good. Rummel will be good, maybe one of the more experienced rosters. St Aug could be a sleeper - very impressed with the young talent they have. Holy Cross will still be really young, talented but probably a year or 2 away from being a contender - new coach will have them very organized.
Barbe, West Monroe, and Catholic-BR are going to be loaded to the gills.

Can you name some of the guys? Hopefully you include cross checkers kid

BM has several from that LL team, Holy Cross has 2 or 3, Rummel has 1 or 2. I think the best from that bunch is Louque at Lutcher, though.

The St Aug kid that committed to Tulane is really good. Bryce Robinson, 25 class. He's a bean pole, uniform hangs off like a night gown, but really good.

To add what everyone else said,
In baton rouge Zachary, catholic and the ap teams have tons of talent again
In lake charles, barbe, sulphur and Sam Houston are all loaded, big time loaded. St Louis has bunch of non sec d1 players. Westlake and st louis both have awesome freshman classes, best in years.
In Lafayette st Thomas Moore, TC, and ND are all good and have bunch of prospects.
As far as where they play now and in fall....summer season is over except the big boys playing area code games and the like, fall will prolly be mainly local usually.

I was going to mention a few of those, but also St Paul's. I think St Paul's in Mandeville has a handful of really good players.

Mandeville and Hammond area have a lot of talent in 2023 class.
