What number do we need to get to including the covid seniors?
Posted on 12/5/22 at 9:01 pm to Bab0711
35 plus up to 5 Covid year guys. I think we have 3 Covid year guys currently
Posted on 12/5/22 at 9:31 pm to ProjectP2294
So we need to cut 3 more I guess?

Not necessarily. There are at least a couple injury redshirt candidates

I’m hearing grant Fontenot could possibly not have a spot as well.

Yeah, he's already off the roster. Was taken off the same day Lansville was.

Sorry I missed your post.

no big deal, the lack of baseball news makes it easy to get buried by the fervor of the football portal

Coleman won't pitch in spring so he will be an injury designation and won't count
Applebey I believe is another that will likely redshirt and not count
The roster is pretty much set unless you have any other players that decide to leave

Just saw a tweet from the same guy that broke Lansville to San Jac (he's a Prospects Live writer):
Dylan Crews is the ONLY player returning to school in 2023 with a hard hit percentage higher than 65% on 93+ MPH fastballs (min 12) and greater than 45% on breaking balls (min 30).
This is what tonight's draft lottery winner is getting 1/1.

Yeah, that sucks. Their park and the city in general is legit though. I genuinely recommend people go catch a game there and visit Pittsburgh. Had an awesome time there this year for three cardinals games and the Tenn/Pitt game.

Interesting name from Arkansas in the portal. Ryan Ward was a 2022 guy committed to Arizona before Jay came to LSU. He flipped to Arkansas after Jay left and is now in the portal. He's a middle infielder from California.

Bats left, throws right. No way Jay isn't on him.
