Looks like LSU got another 2023 commit tonight. Derrick Mitchell from Texas. Pretty sure he’s teammates with MJ Seo.

I've added Mitchell to the commit list. He's a top 150 player in the 2023 class and was previously committed to Arizona State.

His brother committed to Vandy about 3 or 4 days before MJ committed to us.
I'm very interested to see how roster management shapes up going forward. We are filling up the classes, but I think they're factoring in a certain amount of draft attrition.
I do feel a lot more confident in this staff's JUCO recruiting ability than I did with the last one.

Draft attrition & transfer should grant some flexibility im thinking.
On another note, I talked to a friend who’s son is being recruited by the new staff. He says they are great. Johnson is always available and wants to evaluate these kids first hand. He invited them to the box so he could throw batting practice to him. Kid hasn’t even taken a varsity swing yet lol.
Vitello is also hard after him and likes him a lot but will be all LSU if he gets that offer

Did PErfect game have their rankings open to everyone the last few days? I noticed yesterday and the day before I could rankings for our commits in any class and state of LA rankings. Today it says subscribe again on everyone so it's pay walled.
Just wondering if that was intentional or a glitch in their system perhaps

I didn't notice that the rankings were open recently. Last time they were was around Christmas when they open them up to try to get more subscribers.

They are not even worrying about recruits draft stock
They will likely oversign and then if draft takes away too many you can use transfer portal

Speaking of JUCO recruiting just look at what they did this year on short notice. He assessed our weakness and went and grabbed four outstanding arms.
