New portal name to watch: RHP Drew Conover, Seton Hall. Will pitch for harwich in the cape league this summer.

LHP Ross Dunn has entered the Transfer Portal, sources tell @d1baseball. Dunn started 11 games and made 16 appearances for the #Noles this season w/ 77 strikeouts in 48 innings. Lefty with a fastball up to 94-95 mph
Thats some scary good stuff striking out 77 in 48 IP. Did seem to have some control issues leading to his 4.88 ERA though with 26 walks, 9 hit batters and 7 WP in just 48 IP.

Could anyone elaborate on the roster size moves we might see in 2022-2023 with new roster rule being "35-40" reference here.
So teams are allowed 35-40 roster players next season with the caveat being players 36-40 must have been on a college team in 2019-2020 as they "lost" a season due to covid. So basically we can have up to 40 players again, but 5 of them have to be players who were on a college team 2 years ago. I feel like Collins, Hasty, Dugas and Milazzo are all guys who are locks for these roster spots should they choose to stay. But that still leaves 1 spot for Beloso, Gio, Bianco, Travinski and Cranford. Now more than 1 of those guys can come back anyways, but I see those guys as some who didnt play as much but 1 would still be a "free" roster spot in that 36-40 range if the other 4 guys come back. How do we see that shaking out potentially? Or do we maybe just fill it with a transfer who was on a team back in 2020 season?

A reliever to clarify, not a guy that started for USC.

Did I miss this, or is Jack Walker (MSU, formerly of Barbe) in the portal?
Disregard

Colton Ledbetter, Samford, transferring to Mississippi State. LSU wasn't going on him considering what they have/will have but I liked his upside

He is. Heard he is visiting ULL. Getting a bit of interest but not sure LSU is one. LSU would have an excellent shot of landing him if interested.

Micah Bucknam got his first start in the MLB Draft League last night for Trenton. He was up to 94.8 MPH. He went 4 innings, 0 runs, 1 hit, 3k/3bb.
I don't believe he had a high school season this spring. He is on the draft radar, as he was picked by the Blue Jays last year but decided to forgo pro ball to take advantage of the extra year of school in Canada known as Grade 13. I think we have a good chance to get him to campus.

Conover committed to Rutgers today. Staying in New Jersey and playing for a quickly rising program.

Tell Crews to recruit him, they were on team USA together.
But I’ve seen nothing to indicate we are in on him.

Who would y’all consider “one of the best available” in the portal?
Kendall Rogers just said on AFR he expects us to get him within the next few weeks.

Kendall Rogers said we are getting Paul Skenes?

I wish they had a list ranking the portal guys. I don't know how they rank but I know Ahuna is up there and guy I would love to have.

My bet is on Keaschall.
I would probably say Ahuna, Skenes, and White are 3 of the top players that come to my mind.
