That guy may or may not hve legit info, but i just read all of that…wow.
I dont think any rationale fans are gonna shed a tear if any of the freshmen take the pro money because they are scared of competition or if thompson or jobert hit the portal

I mean, yesterday there were like 4 different responses to his first post bitching about the portal and all of them were well thought out, touched on different things, and in good faith.
He's shown that either he can't grasp the points laid out or that he doesn't want to.

The history of players from Barbe isn’t the best, so if he can go 40th out of HS he should take that. He’s a bit of a project anyway.

If you go 40th overall and DON'T take the money, I'd say that is a mistake. Can't me mad about high draft picks.

I don't think any of us is under the illusion that the class won't get gutted. If we get 3 or 4 of the ranked kids, that's a huge win.

I don’t understand why people would be against portal additions. You are taking a player that has proven that he can perform at this level, and doesn’t need an adjustment to the speed of the game. If that runs a kid off, and he can make pro money I don’t see the issue. If the kid trusts the staff, and wants to come in an prove that he is a better talent then his projection (I.e Crews) I think LSU is a great place. I don’t want any freshman coming in thinking they don’t have to work for a spot. I really can’t wrap my head around why this would be a bad thing unless you have a relationship with the player outside of the lines.

Guidry wants to be a shortstop, right? Pineda has 1 year of eligibility. Thats not standing in his way. And he may even get drafted and leave

Unless these kids fully expect to be an everyday MIF starter day one at LSU.... there isnt anything substantial happening to their career

If that's the expectation, they've ignored the external factors that have gone on for 3 years making every team in the country significantly older than in the past.
