This isn’t the final update, it’s the last update before the final. Top247 comes out later today

Perhaps, but unless he verbally commits and/or signs his LOI it's still an unknown.

Yeah, I agree with that which is why I wouldn't have even offered Hubbard...just looked like a good HS RB but not a 4* IMO

Same way that 247's own ranking dropped McGlothern from #666 to #689 nationally. Utterly ridiculous...apparently, they don't watch all star games. The announcers were going crazy over the guy as I would have.

Haynes King QB to A&M looked good but not top 100 good...got dropped to #126 which I agree with
Demon Clowney went from 135 to #223 composite which apparently the LSU staff and posters here agreed with...didn't seem to have a stellar SR season.

Yeah, the Achane guy is a medium 4* guy but after that 2 medium 3* and Hubbard if signed would be a high 3* guy. 4 scholarships sucked up and only this to show for it? But when you have 1 RB on the roster, you take what you can get. But IMO, it has destroyed their recruiting balance for this class.

The major sites seem to be biased towards certain all star games. Obviously, ESPN values the UAA game over the others. 247 seems to favor that one as well. Rivals seems to key in on the Army All American Game. None of them seem to pay much attention to the Poly game.

Yeah. A prospect gets two picks in a freaking all star game, and he's ranked in the 600s. Just stupid.

After the praise Sampah and McGlothern got at the all-star games, it is really surprising they both dropped. (Our remained 600+ in Sampahs case)

Downright bizarre.

And Guillory was being talked about as the best linemen there by the top pay site people. And he barely gets a bump?

I swear these people just don't want their early rankings to seem so wrong so they don't change them when they should. I'd have way more faith in the numbers if these jabronies were just honest.

Yyyyyyyeeeaaaaahhhhh, but McGlothern dropped from a ridiculous 666 to a more absurd 689 in 247's OWN ratings. So yes, he DID drop according to 247 itself!

FYI, McGlothern's average rating W/o 247's input would be 149. 247's own rating 689. May I quote the sagely Ricky Ricardo, "Lucy, you got some 'plaining to do!"

247 lost a little credibility with me last year when they ranked Alfono above Stingley. Their lame arse reason was the worst. They claimed that Alfono's position made him more valuable. They had never mentioned using that as a criterion before. Look how that turned out, BTW. Morons.
