Tennessee is a player,if we turn him down.Been that way for a while. Most Tennessee fans don't want to hear it but it's just the truth. You're a good Tennessee guy so you have a better head on your shoulders and don't buy into the VolNation craziness. If we don't take him then i hope he goes to Tennessee.Anything to provide a little disappointment to the Arky fans.

I bet anything he will decide after Jernigan does. If Jernigan comes here, he goes elsewhere. If Jernigan chooses FSU/UF, Johnson comes here

I understand this analogy but do you think MJ likes being 2nd choice. Is it not a possibility to take both? I believe we should have already taken MJ if he wants to be here and if Jernigan chooses us too, great. To me, we are putting a lot in Jernigan and if we miss on both with a relatively weak DT class next year in La, it's going to suck.

I dont know a thing about him.

But a DT ranked that high, from LA, with that many high profile coaching staffs offering a ride............you take him.

He can do this at LSU, and years from now he can come back to Tiger Stadium and tailgate. There's no better place than Tiger Stadium on Sat. nite, especially if you're ON the football field.

I think it is less about him being the second choice and more about the odds of getting significant play on the line from his freshman year on drops dramatically with Jernigan committing simply because three top DT's in one class combined with strong D-Line talent already on roster is a lot of competition.

I do hope we pull him though, I know I am in the minority but I think he is as good or better than Jernigan.
