He looks pretty raw. Got beat a few times in pass protection; but, I know Zachary has a couple of pretty good defensive lineman. In any event, he's got the size, the feet, and the reach to play in the SEC. We'll coach him up into a stud.

That's what the folks are saying. He won't come in and plug and play like the true freshman we have right now.

Very raw right now from a technical stand point. He definitely needs two years in the weight room and college coaching before he's ready. He possesses great length and feet for a big man though.

Obviously has not much technical coaching but the tools are all there. Would love to see him keep his feet moving. Can’t stop your feet.

Who's number 3? great catch and run for a tuddy at the end

Damn, he’s taller than I thought. Footwork is really bad and he is top heavy. Needs some work like the Bordelon kid, but projectible nonetheless
On another note; cannot believe Aug beat Zachary

Now people can see what I saw. I thought #10 rated OT was too high by On3.
Shea has been pumping this kid hard. He's a good prospect and I'm glad he is on board, but he's not in Campbell, Jones, or Heard's class IMO.

Is he #77? If so, I hate to say it, but he looked pretty damn bad in this video. Gets beaten badly a couple times in pass pro, and multiple times allowed the DE he was supposed to seal on the backside make a play in the run game. It seems like they specifically tailor their run game to go *away* from his side, which is a bit scary to me.
He obviously has a 10/10 frame, but... yeesh, everything else looks no bueno. Honestly doesn't even look like he moves well. He absolutely just looks like your average HS football LT in this.

He’s very raw….but the kid he went against most of the night is an underrated DE who is committed to Indiana.
#3 made 4 outstanding plays to seal the win fo st aug.
Not taking anything away from st aug because they out played ZHS in the second half but Kylin Jackson didn’t play due to suspension in this one and Eli Holstein missed the last possession due to injury. However backup qb Hudson Spangler dropped a dime in the corner of the end zone on 4th down which was dropped by the wr.
It was a good HS football game and st aug made the plays to win it while Zachary dropped them. Big time win for them.

quote:Nah. He moves better better than our man Lance but you have to imagine this kid still being able to move the feet/hips like this with 30 more lbs. on him.
Honestly doesn't even look like he moves well.
Look at the Heard post above this one and compare lower body flexibility and feet when you get a chance.
Not jazzing you, dude, I'd like to know what you think.

Did that kid transfer to Zachary from Cedar Creek?
Posted on 9/21/22 at 6:51 pm to Damathe
Yea meant top heavy. Lacks body control

many big kids have growth spurts and it takes a little while for them to regain their balance and control -trust the coaches

Yes, moved down here to live with dad. He’s a pretty good player. May have quite a few more offers by the end of the season.
