Tyreek Smith is originally from Baton Rouge whom relocated to Texas due to grades.
The kid also plays with Javonte Smart Houston base AAU Team. I predict by next year that this kid will be a top 50 prospect. Will Wade is holding true to finding basketball recruits with natural ties to Louisiana. This kid is being recruited by Tony Benford extremely hard.

He just doesn't seem like he wants to follow in dad's footsteps, but who knows. Maybe if Arizona gets popped for this to the point he has no interest in risking it there and he sees that Wade is for real, it could happen

Looks like the Tigers are recruiting Juco Cener Yuat Alok from Chipola JC and may sign before the early signing period is over. He is 6 11 from Auckland New Zealand via Cameroon.

Direct Duop Reath replacement, except he wouldn't be starting.
Averaging 13 points, 5 boards right now this year through 8 games at Chipola.

I was under the impression that Bigby-Williams would be the backup. His numbers at Oregon we're very average to below average.

Bigby is just one year though. Alok would be around an extra year.

He was playing behind NBA talents his 1 year there, it wasn't because he wasnt any good. He was national JUCO player of the year coming out of JUCO, he's better than Alok, and it's not really that close IMO. Not a knock on Alok, but he's definitely more developmental, even as a JUCO. It's early in the season, but Alok doesn't even look as good as Reath did coming out of JUCO.

I didn't see anything new, except he was held out of Oak Ridge's opener and maybe their second game.
I know high schools are a lot more lenient in bringing players back than colleges pursuing said player, but I'm a little surprised he's already playing with nothing new out there.
